"they don't "officially" end up together but they share an extremely, EXTREMELY close bond that's wayyy more than just friends IMO. Also in the end, they're still single with no other partner, though I guess that could change? But there's like a 0% chance of that happening. Hyunjae's reasons for marrying were not in his control and against his consent and Yoojin crashes his wedding. I'm not sure which instance you are talking about for Hyunjae leaving because he does that a lot in the story...they tend do have a lot of "breakup" arcs lmao. But yeah they don't end up romantically get together no, although they're probably like...one romantic confession away from it being canon"
