I think when they got her on first life, both of them where alive, but I don't think either of them has the chance to meet, they were pretty much locked in different places and maybe even didn't know the existence of the other one.

there isnt an exact episode, but theu gradually get to liking each other. its kind of a slowburn but it’s so worth it cause their climax is to DIE for!!!! trust !
