Before i read i really want to know, is it red, black or green ?
short answer: yeah. long answer: if u liked roses and champagne I'm sure you'll like this. you see, I usually drop manhwas if they have unnecessary rape scenes (and here it was REALLY unnecessary), but I liked the characters (the main character especially), the art, the overall plot & dynamics enough to continue. actually, had the rape not been there this would've been one of my favourites probably. since you were okay w roses and champagne, though, where caesar was basically a black flag, this is much tamer & the backstory is pretty nicely developed imo !
i can see where you're coming from, but that's an incorrect assumption to make. even if the victim is physically stronger, and has the ability to overpower the perpetrator, when going through something like sexual assault, it is a common trauma response to freeze up and/or not have the power to fight back, even if the ability is still present. not always, but it does happen many times. and ik u probably didnt mean it this way, but this logic is often used to downplay the trauma of male rape survivors, or physically stronger victims who have gone through something so traumatic. "they couldve easily fought back, yet they didnt, so they actually secretly wanted it". if a person says no, that's it. u don't have to physically fight back to show that u don't want it. in this particular scene, yw even tries to run away. he also clearly says no multiple times. hence, it's clearly non con. though, had he verbally not said no or stop, and the overall vibe had been ambiguous, we could have labelled it as dub con. sorry for such a long rant, I hope this made sense though^^
Am I the only one that has a hard time reading this because of the art style, like don't get me wrong I think the art is really good but what the artist do with the lines hurt my eyes
