I think the author is very confused as well when they were writing this but it’s alright. Just needs more consistency and progression
This just developed very quickly…I would have preferred if the rumours festered for awhile and the Sir Eric helped her in regards to that and Cinderella public ally denounced all the rumours and then Petra join the company because all that is settled and her and Sor Eric can have a nice blossomed relationship rather than him forcing himself on her like he did. They basically just changed their personality from the first couple chapters.
I fully understand why he’s hesitant in saying yes…he doesn’t know his future and the way Ramilay presents herself is very wish washy. So he’s worried when she gets “bored” of him he’ll be tossed aside. He has to think of Aremy and himself and their future. Obv we know this will not be the case.
Random side note: maybe I should read the novel bc I don’t really like her justification for why she wants to marry him

I know she’s most likely gonna end up with Theo but I genuinely think he doesn’t deserve her in any capacity. I want her to end up in the eastern kingdom and live out her days peacefully. It would be great if the story transitions to her becoming a famous painter or something
