I know the mortal mc suffers with punishment and death, but isnt the snake god suffering more? He clearly is unable to let go of the betrayal and he lives forever... I am not blaming the victim, but the mortal mc can start his life anew everytime, he gets some sort of respite, right? The snake god on the other hand... Im loving this side story very much, but Jintae clearly suffers from chronic ptsd, hes assumed from very early the chore of offering emotional security to his mother (parentification), she has trauma but she was the adult in the relationship, even worse: a parent. I understand we are all humans but forcing this role on a child leaves scars that are hard to heal.
Hes also shown hyper vigilance, he keeps replaying his actions and words, besides the nightmares... Im not saying all ppl with ptsd need a psychologist experienced in treating this disease, but its important to recognize IT IS a disease, so it is treatable, looking for adequate professional help should be encouraged.
On the other side, dawun is such a ray of sunshine, he keeps on shining s2
