Is there any uke who’s in a high position? Like maybe he’s the CEO, leader of some company or Mafia organisation.

I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are regarding chinese BL novel translators who likes to hold on to works when they don’t even update for months. I’ve seen a lot of translators like this. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate their effort of introducing the novels to me but I saw irresponsible translators where they constantly wishes for donations when they don’t update for a long time. I’ve also saw a translator who still asks for donations when she already dropped the novel. When I saw this, I stopped giving donations to translators. But there are also translators who keeps to their word and are very responsible like Exiled Rebels and Rainbow Turtle, I particularly like these two.

It’s quite upsetting to see great novels being left hanging for a long time when it could actually be completely translated if done responsibly. I know the translators have their own life and their own problems but if they really couldn’t support to continue translating, I think it’s still better for them to leave it open for someone else who’s willing to update whether daily, weekly or monthly rather than continuously claiming the novel as their own. But I think novels with 200+ chapters shouldn’t be updated monthly cuz that would have taken a very long time lol. This is just my opinion and I still appreciate their effort. If any are offended, my apologies, I wasn’t trying to point fingers.

Honestly, I have a bit of an issue with translators "claiming" a novel or manga. I've seen posts from translators that are super angry about someone else translating the work they were already working on, and I understand that they might feel like they've wasted their time, but they Don't own it!
Almost all the mangas posted to this site have been translated and posted here illegally. The true authors have not given permission to have their works translated/shared. Now I and every one else reading on these sites are just as much to blame because we are reading illegally too, but I think its a bit hypocritical for translators to be mad about someone else translating a work that they are also translating illegally.
Whew, sorry, that got a bit wordy.

Is there any yaoi where the two dudes are fighting to become the uke? Or any yaoi where one of them insist on becoming the uke?

Luca April 16, 2018 3:05 pm

In this yaoi manga there was a scene where a husband and wife treated a guy kindly even offering to let the guy stay in their house. But soon, the guy developed feelings towards the husband bcuz the husband was the most kind towards him. One day, the guy was doing something that I forgot (maybe kissing the sleeping husband or jerking off to him??) and the wife caught him doing that. The wife looked so disgusted and enraged so she threw the guy out from her house immediately. This story is about the guy as the main character (I forgot if he's uke or seme) and another guy he met falling in love. I wanna know the title~ and thanks in advance

Find me this manga plis~
I think it's on chapter 5 and the second/third story of the manga. Uke was a loner until a guy came to him being all friendly. Uke makes bentos and ate lunch with the guy and the guy really loves his bentos. Uke also deliberately made a portion of bento for two people. Uke was in love with the guy but one day, the guy told uke that he's going to get married. Uke was of course heartbroken since the guy wanted uke to be the best man on the wedding and uke agreed. On the wedding day, uke got badmouthed by the guy's friends and the guy stood up for uke. I think in the end, uke was seen crying I guess.
I could remember the story clearly but I forgot the name of the manga.
