So the fenrir known to be soooo difficult to befriend and tame, contracted with clair because? The mc healed her and his baby fluff Leo took care of her while she was recovering? She did absolutely nothing what? Dropping this
To the plot's point, she isn't really the most capably independent character, so giving her a companion that isn't full grown will ensure Takumi and Leo are still the strongest in the manga while still giving her a companion with power growth potential.
Against the author's intention, they don't specify this would be how she grows out of a damsel in distress mindset, so it's true it seems like a baseless hand-me-out to her.
I just dislike how Clair is driving the story so far instead of the mc. And it doesn't help that she just seem and feel empty while her character is being used as a speaker for all the lore drops.
Like, the title says pet parent and his daughter's adventures. 9 chapters in and she already housebound both mc's and she's dragging them at her own pace. Like, I didn't check out the story for her, she's not a fluffy creature, shut up, and let the guy explore already?
Since he stowed away the ring, maybe he could do the same when he punches the villain's armor? Since it's such a huge buff to his defenses, right??
I'm not sure either tbh, just a thought. Like, did he lose ownership when his item was transferred to the divine physician then stolen by the enemy? If several transfers made him lose ownership and all he did to "obtain" the item again was just a touch, like the stow away option might become overpowered in future battles. Like it would be hilarious if he could just hold his opponents' weapons or clothes, say mine, then store it in his inventory

I need a farming game that's like this
