It’s crazy how no one is suspecting Jurion (the known heir for the longest time) about Ian’s death especially when it happened just aftee Ian became the heir. Genuinely if you guys are expecting Astrid to have better morals, you will all be disappointed. This is a very non-serious, kind of fast paced story that is very fun if you don’t take it too seriously.

I also advise that people look at how they act more than what they say because the curse is kinda…confusing? Even Astrid and Leti are confused but it’s kinda like the family can’t decipher or tell what they are feeling but they are feeling something.

NOVEL SPOILERS

Astrid isn’t upset about the child sacrifice, she’s upset because the duke can’t say he loves her (because of the curse that he can’t seem to understand what he feels) and that’s the primary reason for the “divorce” (they are both happily in love LMFAO) but the duke is very dedicated and loving towards Astrid, he really just can’t decipher his feelings because of the curse.

Honestly the curse doesn’t make so much sense so far (I’m more than half way through the novel) but we will see LOL

This story isn’t about getting strong or defeating the best or the strongest—it’s about a guy who was the best yet lonesome in it’s peak, find people, comrades, friends, and family to return home to.

It’s a very satisfying read, very different, and unique compared to every murim story I have read before. I would have a lot more things be expounded on but the ending is good enough for me :)

Other than translations being kinda questionable at times, this was a great read for those who wants a different pace for once. It’s unhurried and takes its time to develop, but it’s well worth it. I still want more of everyone as everyone is so equally endearing to me.
