i can't stress enough how much i love dohwa's development, even if it's subtle. a lot of people whined about the lengths he went to pursue su-ae, and i'm SO glad he's trying to move on from her and respect her & eunhyuk's relationship. even though i personally was rooting for dohwa (still am, but for different reason) i like that he's coming to the realization that su-ae isn't into him. ૮ • ﻌ - ა

ive seen a handful of people in comment sections for this manwha, mostly this one, act absolutely fed up with dohwa & his supporters. i can't help but giggle when certain fans complain about the amount of rooting for dohwa. he WAS introduced as the 2nd male lead in the beginning, so he will obviously have fans and people that empathize with him. some people need to stop beefing with dohwa & his fans because at the end of the day, he WAS set up as a love interest. call them delusional, say they're coping — but people can be allowed to prefer dohwa & suae after all this.

however, in all honestly i occasionally can't blame people for disliking dohwa. the writing of this manwha and its characters is kinda all over the place and the plot strays A LOT. from the start, you just KNOW that eunhyuk & su-ae will be endgame, but don't know how the author will go about it. sometimes i feel like the author overlooks the depth and personality they gave dohwa. and ra-im, too. she's just in the background now. oh well. #teamdohwashappiness (´ڡ` )

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m glad she rejected kase. It’s so obvious she didn’t have any strong feelings toward him. People are shitting on her choice for not choosing the green flag but y’all not actually thinking of the well-being of the dude or the girl. The girl clearly likes someone else and you want her to be in a relationship with someone she doesn’t like. And you want that nice guy to be in a relationship with a girl that doesn’t like him back? If she chose kase, she would be settling for comfortability and liking the things an ideal bf would give her, rather than the guy himself.

I personally believe that kase and the FL wouldn’t be a good match. They still only give at most good friend/co-worker vibes. They only have seen each other’s nicest and good sides. She can’t really relax or be like the type she is in front of akira. On the other hand with akira, both the FL and akira have seen a mixture of each other’s good and bad sides, but still care for each other and can’t help but want to stick to each other. Anyways I believe that kase could be with someone that actually gives the same amount of love to him, and it would be cute for him to find someone that’s more forward and affectionate in contrast. I’m not trashing the FL’s choice because I think she should choose someone who she loves for her own happiness, not who she’d be comfortable with and settling for. Akira has his own issues that are self-explanatory but he has shown to care hence why he’s pushing her towards someone he thinks is a better guy for her. Y’all never heard of “if you love them let them go?” And if they come back then I guess it’s meant to be. Which is what she did.

This should not at all be surprising, we have literally seen Sohan talking about how Sihwa would leave for several chapters now. He's been PREPARING himself and he's saying this cause he feels like it's the only option, he sees it from a realistic standpoint because he's had to do so for like, basically the entirety of the time he's had to deal with all this shit. Sohan finally got the debt off his shoulders and was immediately bombarded with so many other issues that there was no time for Sohan to gain the awareness of relying on others, matter of fact, he doesn't even do so when they're at the cafe and the cafe owner asks if there's anything he needs to talk about. Sohan is used to dealing with his problems alone and when it's over, coping and moving on.

He's not choosing his dad over him, and he can't see that he has a better support system now because he's bracing for everything to go back to how it was: Him, alone. Cause that's how it's had to be for him. He's not fucking choosing this cause he's a dumbass, he's choosing it cause he doesn't wanna get hurt, I'm so sick of people not understanding how coping mechanism work oml
