So, imma tell you some future events after the 3 year timeskip that wasn't mentioned before. (NOT IN ORDER)
- Alfonso and Ariadne marry in secret, after he asked the Cardinal for her hand.
- King Leon III feels threatened by Alfonso he doesn't accept him into his palace and delegates him tasks that could put him in danger.
- Isabella marries Ottavio after he takes her out of the convent and has his daughter, but divorces him after House Cortarini goes bankrupt.
- Isabella buys a Moro slave, who is another regressor.
- The merchants become richer than most nobles so Sir Carruso marries one of Ariadne's friends.
- Cesar spends his time in his house, getting drunk and sleeping with woman who resemble Ariadne.
- Ariadne finally reveals to her father that Ippolito is not his son
- Isabella becomes the King's mistress
-Ariadne and Isabella get into a physical fight which ends with Ariadne losing her baby (she didn't know she was pregnant) after Isabella pushed her down. Alfonso was furious and wanted to kill Isabella but since the soldiers tell him that the king wouldn't allow it he orders for her to receive 60 lashes instead.
- Ariadne was unconscious for 3 days but didn't feel sad she lost her baby, she did think Alfonso would be mad at her, cause Cesar was mad in her past life, but Alfoso was relieved she was alive.
- Cesar questions himself if he could still love Ariadne since she wasn't "pure" anymore which is a contrast with Alfonso saying he will love her no matter what.
- Ariadne feels sad she would get reunited with her child in another life since unbaptised babies don't reencarnate. So she now focuses on making Alfonso king

Idk if the last point resembles actual faith irl? But is there people out there who really think God wouldn’t give a second chance at life to a baby who didn’t even live to fruition? God is love, who are we to asume any decision He may take? Only He knows what He will do. I hope no one who’s lost a baby ever thinks God will do that to them.

    About Ari’s loss:

Later, it’s revealed Ari does feel sad about her child. That’s the thing about losing a child. Maybe to her it didn’t feel real at first but much later she thinks about the child and is sad. Like the time when Cesare makes an utterly stupid comment about forgiving her for getting pregnant with Alphonso’s (her husband’s) child (the audacity) and Ari went off on him in ch712:

    Ari: Just shut up!

Ariadne decided to shut Cesare up. She didn't want to hear it.

    The baby with Alfonso.

To tell the truth, she had never welcomed the baby.

It was a child she hadn't been prepared for, a child she hadn't known she would have, a child she hadn't known she would lose.

She tried to pretend that nothing had happened, but sometimes the dead fetus in the womb came back to her. The child was such a subject for Ariadne, who would wonder what to call it, given that it had no name, and then would start to imagine if it was a boy or a girl, and then for some reason it would break her heart, so she would deliberately change the subject.

It was a child she hadn't been willing to accept, not even for herself, so Ariadne hadn't expected anyone to be angry when she denied it.

But to hear the child's name come out of Chezare's mouth, and to hear it as something to be 'forgiven'.

    Ariadne couldn't contain herself.

Ari: "Who do you think you are to forgive me and Alfonso's child?"

If Cesare had said he forgave her for her private life, Ariadne would have accepted it as part of his long history of gaslighting and moved on.

But her and Alfonso's child was an "other," and half of Alfonso's blood.

    …..

She gritted her teeth and spoke the words, not to hurt him, but because they were true, coming from her heart at this moment, comparing Cesare to the child she had lost.

Ari: "You're nothing, you mean nothing to me."

In that same conversation Cesare had further shown his disrespect for Ari:

Cesare: Come, run away with me.

Ariadne doubted her ears. It was an outrageous proposition, one that would make her forget her predicament as she stretched out in the grass, away from Isabella's eyes. (Cesare had pulled her in the bush/grass to hid from Isabella on the palace grounds)

Ari: Get some cold water and wake up, you crazy bastard!

    Ariadne's voice rose unbidden.

    ….

Ari: What makes you think that every woman is going to say thank you and take your hand when you offer it to her?

    Cesare: That's-.....

Ari: Oh, yeah. I'm sure all women are grateful and flattered, except me.

Even me in my previous life.

    Ari: Just shut up.

(Then the part I shared before of her thinking of her lost baby happens here. Then after Ari tells him he means nothing to her, she also answers him about his proposal that she run away with him and leave her husband)

Ari: "Why would I leave my family and run away with you?"

(Ari says some more things to Cesare and even admits to herself that they both have difficult parents but Cesare needs to take responsibility for himself since he is 10 years past puberty. Yet he’s asking her to run away with him, etc. Ari ends the conversation by telling Cesare the following:)

Ari: Get the fuck out of my life!
