If your gonna compare this to that youll ruin your read. Its not the same but there are some relation between the story. Youll ruin the story for yourself if your focused on comparing the two.
My only complain is that it feels like the MC is carrying the whole comedy aspect of it on his back. He's great, Don't get me wrong. Story plot is also great. But if only the others comitted to the bit as well, it would have been better.
Like in GED, Lloyd's Comedy was fantastic but Javier also contributed. He made it even funnier.
Here, MC's guard, a clear imprint of Javier, Isn't really funny. And i feel like he Isn't really committing to the bit.

If anyone is wondering if this is worth it- yes. But its not the same as the greatest estate developer. While there's some references,easter eggs, and the mc both does things for their selves but ends up helping others, its still not the same. Its good yes, but try not to compare it to greatest estate developer too much or youll ruin the story for you. Id recommend to read this 10/10

No romance?
Not much. I think the writing style of the author is stayed the same as the greatest estate developer when it comes to the romance. It'll probably be subtle and will appear around the end. The focus is still on the MC

In the novel there's a love interest but its not focused on that and its also slow burn like Lloyd's relationship. The manhwa as it is right now doesn't have any.
In my eyes this series ended at season 1 chapter 53. They massacred the mc bru. The story had potential it was that good but the new art aint it for me so Im just gonna end it at chap 53. It was good 5/5 I love the battle with peste. Maybe I'll give this another read but not today.
If I were to recommend some stories like this other than the one where its Llyod's predecessor, I'd recommend these 2

The MC's name is cale and he wants to live and obtains strage ancient powers along yhe way to safety. I think this story is pretty close to the greatest estate developer and the art style might be more suited. Its a bit confusing at first especially if you skim over a some dialogues but its really good.

"The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life" Its not quite the same but it was enough for me.
Short summary the mc got reincarnated in a good for nothing Noble's body. Instead of choosing the round about way of fighting like Llyod, he's very strong and chose to fight and he cares for his people
a lot.
Its not comedy and peak like the greatest estate developer but its worth the shot to read.

As for me, yes it is considered as good story to read. Not because it's a typical "to save myself, I will tame ____" but because I love how the MC was somehow still a child despite having to do all those plans just to keep herself alive.
