I love this type of art and expected a really great story filled with angst. But I was really disappointed. This had so much potential. The author just wasted an opportunity.
It's been a long time since I've read a good story. This one didn't leave me disappointed at all. It was very different from the usual ones. However, the art could have been a little bit more better. Some angles just looked odd at times.
The storytelling is choppy and isn't smooth. I would have liked to see more of how the king and the bodyguard realises their feelings for each other. I felt it was suddenly forced on the readers that they have feelings for each other without showing the actual development. The pacing of the story is fast. The story gets better in the later chapters. I liked the ending very much. Everyone's ending was justified and got just the right amount of what they deserved.
Okay I've had it. I hate Wangye. I don't care if he's going to change in the future. I had held on to some hope all this time though everyone else hated him. Not anymore. Fuck you Wangye. I'd rather have Yu'er leave him and lead a different life of his own.
