Why do I have this feeling that Katsumi is still depressed and the relationship he has with Maki was a way to atone his guilt for rejecting him?.. he does reciprocate Maki's feelings for him since their high school days right?... maybe I'm just too overthinking about the ending.. Katsumi probably gone through some rehabilitation while he's with Maki. 10 years of continuous self-loathing isn't so easy to overcome.
If the story would be longer, I think the possibility of atonement is going to appeared at some point, bcs yes it's true that 10 years self loathing and depressed is not an easy thing to get rid of. Maybe at some point he would reminded of his dirty past self again, and then suspicious of his own feeling. But I can see Maki would be there again for him aaaaaa （/TДT)/
that jerk could at least talk it out by keeping his ego in check.. poor dong gyun... he suffered a lot... i just hope in the chapter he realize its not worth keeping a 'company' for this idol of his.. Sunbae on the otherhand better be apologizing to him.. like stop making Dong gyun being your sex buddy/slave... that guy is just too pure(pfft tho not anymore)

Hey, guys. I've been wondering... How old are they in their current age and how old were they when they broke up?
here's the thing:
I made a quick maths(no pun intended) on how old when they met each other as kids...I'm guessing they were 10 years old(?) considering their first performance was on halloween; beforehand they met a group of 5th grader girls? (Simon told them the girls are older so they should be 4th graders at that time)
And so after reading chapter 26 their intense/romantic relationship sparked 5 years before Simon's debut as a 'legit' singer...so they should be 20 back then?
And they break their relationship after 2 years which means they should be somewhere between 22 - 23 years?... so roughly as what Conor mentioned in chapter 22, it was more than half a year since they broke up... so are both of them somehow aged of 24 to 25?
because its kinda impossible to think Simon's became fast famous singer for only less than a year, where else most singers spent years of practising/rehearsing/produce their own first single album and debut preparations for longer period of time...
(or perhaps that explains why Simon's promiscuous behaviour brought him into fame so quickly) :-?

I have actually finished the story.All 82 chapters of it,but im reading it again to make sure about some things and remember some details.Simon and Connor must had been 8-9 years old when they first met and they were already boyfriends during high school.Currently im reading the story again and now im on chapter 18 in which is stated that after graduation Simon and Connor got their own place and lived together which means they had been boyfriends for 8 years before their breakup.From 18 to 26.I'm pretty sure they were separated for a little more than 6 months.Simon broke up with Veronica and he visited Simon very soon after that.It's a bit complicated with the timeline but i don't believe they were separated for years.Just a few months but i will continue reading to make sure.

It is completed but only the Korean version.Currently there are 76 chapters in English in the official website Lezhin.And now I'm sure Simon and Connor were separated only for 6 months.It says so in chapter 22.And Connor visited Simon few days later.

Dark Heaven is 82 chapters but I really hope for some extras.I have been dying to know what is going to happen to Gale and Hasco and my heart hurts for Kiev.I want to see him happy with someone who is going to love him deeply and unconditionally just like Kiev deserves to.I was so sad to see him in the end broken hearted still not over his love for Simon.It's so unfair for Kiev.Tbh I ship him and Simon in the most hardcore way possible and i believe Kiev could be a way better partner for Simon than Connor.

There is a preview and i think that Veronica's ghost is trying to steal one of Conor's underwear and death is dragging her back to abyss.
There was an extra chapter after chapter 81 but idk what is going on but im assuming its supposed to be funny since they are all chibis.And there was another extra chapter after the "ending" chapter 82.They are all still in chibi form and idk what is going on since those are from the Korean website.Still need more serious extras...

i found her twitter recently she did posted the chibi comic in korean and it is so adorable.
INCORRECT: They've only been broken up for just over *6mos* for at the end of Chapter 1, total time apart is around 8mos by time they are back together in Chapter 47.
So, there is some age/Calendar weirdness - FYI. Short Version - Best guess with in-comic calendar: met around Age 9, Ch 1 was Age 27, by Ch 82, Age 30-31
Biggest problem: She says "15 years ago" - which would mean they met at Age 12, which would make it 6th grade, which is clearly not true.
Easiest Fix: If Conor had said "25 years old" instead of 27. It would mean that they would've been a bit awesome as a band, landing their permanent gig at Café Live at Age 20, only 2 years out, but it would make the rest of the timeline fit.
LONG VERSION - SPOILERS
Here's what's stated explicitly that we know of in the comic:
- the Halloween Concert is in 4th grade (we know this because the girls that ask are in 5th grade and are "older than them") - Conor fell in love after this. Age 10
- 5th grade for first kiss (hospital), Pete was in 6th grade same year. Age 11

- Date with Sasha, 3 seconds, Dragons Movie 4 afternoon - all mid high school - Age 16
- Move in with Simon start Indie Band career - Age 18
**From here we have to count backwards from Conor on the phone with his mom and mentioning "27 is young to get married" just before the WAF incident.
- Land permanent Gig at Café Live - "5 years Ago" - Age 22
- Indie Band TV show thing - "Two years Later" - Age 24
- Conor on phone with his mom talking about marriage - Age 27

I've been reading this manga since my teens and as soon as I heard the remake, I went off to watch the OVA, MV and re-read the manga here.. I still couldn't forgive Seishiro for what he did to Subaru and especially to his twin sister, Hokuto.
Their time as the dynamic trio was too short.. I loved Hokuto so much in the manga to see her died like that it breaks my heart.
Even more heartache when u see her appear again on X/1999 as the roaming spirit in Kakyo's dreamscape and Subaru's catatonia state.
I wished there was a way to resolve Subaru's bond towards Seishiro.. but it seems, he really deserves to die by the hands of Subaru instead. Really, no matter if you follow through Subaru's story from TB series all the way to X, it's really tragic; from a shy and cheerful teen Subaru to more depressive, emotionless adult. It's just too much to bear
please tell me, which one should i read first? x1999 or tokyo babylon?
The end of Subaru and Seichiro' story is in x1999. But I have to warn you, x1999 is still in hiatus (and it's already 20years...)
