Asel is a 21 year old orphan, who’s had no family to support him, didn’t get a proper education, was thrown into the host club world, “rescued” by a rich guy, given a much easier and well paid job, got caught up in rut cycle, ended up pregnant, and rushed into marriage with a man from a world light years different from his own upbringing. It can takes years to recover and learn to adjust to life after just one major event let alone several huge life milestones happening in less than a year. I’m of the mind to give this character a bit more grace. Jinhyeok strikes me as someone who’s been living on chaebol heir autopilot his whole life and is being rocked by this unexpected, naive, and wholesome boy. It’s no wonder these two are so emotionally constipated.

same! like Asel is just young and naive and he genuinely doesn’t have any family or friends to take as an example or to talk to get advice meanwhile the ML, from where im seeing it, is disgusted by himself because he’s way older and he shouldn’t have taken advantage of Asel

It’s really not morally questionable, they slept accident happened and decided to keep the baby which is an okay choice at the end of the day, and MC despite his upbringing demanded responsibility which is also fine, the annoying part is that the author is portraying the ml as this guilt ridden nice guy who seems like he could marry a tree if he owes the tree, so it makes the MC look so pathetic, plus they are just okay with everything, they should sort out things, they aren’t lovers so their relationship needs to establish boundaries but yea it’s what it is
Exactly. These two fall within the realm of slightly dysfunctional because they don’t communicate and have opposing personal motivations, so my personal threshold for being pissed off hasn’t been reached. It’s also a pregnancy shotgun marriage so the fact that one has feelings of love and the other has feelings of obligation is very much expected. Whereas other stories where folks are kidnapping or confining or SA’ing people are way more likely to annoy and frustrate me.

My favorite way to cool down is imagining the words ‘THE END’ after every chapter.
But seriously, I just stay glued to the AC whenever I can and cold showers are a lifesaver.
I also use several fans to create air flow along with the AC my family keeps fighting over whether it should be on or off.
At this point we all just crave the end. Cold showers in hot weather are incredible
