Just read the spin off/side story and came back here to reread this masterpiece. It's one of my most favourites. One of the stories where I feel "true love" exists. I just wanna say "I love you" to Masaki and Juuichi just the way masaki says 'I love you' in his head looking at Juuichi. My heart will forever be with these two. Just wanna see them happy together.
The spin off is a good story, I enjoyed it but I couldn't really root for them knowing how they turn out to be in the future. Because I remember crying, screaming, hating them so much in this story .
I read the spin off first, I was rooting for Keigo and Iida lol
I don't approve their method but Keigo desperate to save his father so....
yeah keigo is desperate. I would root for him too if i read that manga first. His story is touching - he just wanted to live a good life with his family. The thing that makes me sad is that keigo became what he hated. He put Juuichi through what he went through regarding being a witch. That line he said "do you even know what happens to the witches that are caught?" He was terrified.
The thing is that Masaki and Iida has similarities. Just that Iida has no morals while masaki wants to be a good person but has some moral issues. The difference is mostly in Juuichi and Keigo. Guess that is the theme, the way they addressed it - Juuichi is the kind witch and Keigo is the worst witch.
From that and this. many things have happened - Keigo is now back in the group and Iida lost some lives. Wish i could read more of what happens after the timeline of this manga. I wanna see more of both couples in the future - hopefully their peaceful days.
More than anything I want to see the end of that witch hunting company. They deserve death.
i love that part where Juuichi sympathizes with Keigo's feelings but doesn't sacrifice himself. He is kind but he stands his ground. I bet they could be good friends in a different situation.

The love story of the bad guys! I enjoyed it but gosh I remember crying, screaming, hating them so much in the main couple story.
They are good together but man they are the bad guys, the villains. they hurt our cute main couple.
Like I will root for these two if they were different people. They are a power couple. Crazy for each other - crazy with each other - will do anything for the other. I really like all of these but they won't be my favourite. I LOVE LOVE THE MAIN COUPLE SO MUCH. Their love is just too good.

This is absolutely beautiful. I loved everything about this. It felt so real and genuine. I liked the main story and I also liked the extra with Hayato and Ken.
Reading the comments, i was a bit hesitant to read it but this is so good (i am confused, did we even read the same story?) Sure I wanted more but the story is perfectly beautiful and satisfying. I loved all the characters. I loved Hayato (the ex) - he loved Hide and he was a good friend - he wanted hide to be happy wholeheartedly. I loved Ken chan (the foxy guy) - he had such less screentime but he really impressed me - i really want a story of him and hayato. I loved Hide - his love tugged at my heartstrings. When he said "saying not yet is unfair" "how long should I wait" - he is so real. And I really loved Haru - he was so impressive and respectful. Really liked when he said that he didn't want to rush things as that would be insulting to his wife and his new lover. He took his time - isn't that amazing? He didn't give Hide any halfhearted words. He waited till his heart was ready so that he can respect hide's feeling properly. He loved his wife and he will never forget her (of course because she is a really important part of his past) but that doesn't make his love for hide any less. Of course his feelings and hide's feelings are not on the same page yet. Hide has loved him for so long. Haru will love him with all his heart too. Time will show it. It's the perfect slice of life shounen ai. I'm so glad i found this story.
