Seriously the narration suck ! A whole chapter for nothing. It's not like we are waiting for an explanation on Haebom side ┑(￣Д ￣)┍. The smut feels sooooo unnecessary. Like someone said on the comments, better consider this an AU than a officiel sequel.
On a side note, with the read hair saying Haebom is better of dead than living like that, Taesung jinxing everything by saying "there's always next time", Haebom crying in the bathroom while trying to keep traces of Taesung inside his body... I smell trying to run away again or worse trying unaliving himself

Sooooooo what if... The grandpa threatened to do something to Mme Ha to get Haebom out of the picture ? We know he is a cold manipulative son of a b*tch who only used his daughter in order to have an heir.
We also know Haebom love Ms Ha more than his own life as per the other seasons. We also know he easily feels guilt towards her of felt like a burden to her family for a long time.
I mean... I believe that direct threats to his relationship wouldn't have scared Haebom. But threats to the life (or else) of his Mom. That's another story that could (barely) explain going MIA for 6 months. Or why he ran away when he saw Taesung and is desperatly trying to push him away despite being depressed by the separation himself. Or the foreshadowing of Bombom worrying for Ms Ha and Taesung feeling something's off. He fears something will happen to Ms Ha.
Or maybe that's just me also desperatly trying to find something to prevent this season to go Titanic) (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
