He lashed on Cain whenever he was mad about problems HE had with Yahwi. The only time he had sex with Cain was to forget about Yahwi without giving a shit about Cain's feelings. finally someone with common sense, this whole manhwa sucks and jooin is so toxic its just ridiculous. yes he is hurt cause of yahwi, but he's literally using it as an excuse to toy around with other's feelings. imo, i actually forgive yahwi because even though his story was a sob story, he at least apologised and acknowledged that what he did was wrong (even when it was too late) and tried to do right by giving Jooin space when he asked for it. But Jooins is just complete bs. He's lashing out at everyone just because he doesnt know how to control his feelings, never seen him apologise and much less acknowledge that what he did was wrong. And Cain.. well. Cain is just Cain.
I agree. I like both Yahwi and Cain, but I'm actually glad that Yahwi is getting the consequences to his actions, it's only fair and it's the most realistic thing in this manhwa tbh. If you don't appreciate what you have, you'll eventually lose it. What angers me the most is that Jooin is doing the exact same thing and he probably won't have a consequence and end up with Cain happily. I also wish if Cain would take some time to find himself and his purpose as well, like... it doesn't matter if you were his dog in the past life, he is not your "meaning", you're a man of your own. EXACTLY!! Im a Yahwi stan but good lord its satisfying to finally see some realistic things in the manhwa: a person facing their consequences. Yahwi deserves that, and also needs to acknowledge that Jooin needs time to forgive him (if he ever will). But at the same time, Jooin is literally neglecting Cain's feelings and the next scene he is all happily with him like just choose an emotion. I don't really like nor dislike Cain since his character looks bland from my perspective, but damn he needs to grow a spine and realise his worth. Literally letting himself getting shit on by some guy he met in his other life, tough.
Jooin never used Cain as an emotional outlet (I'm assuming this is what you mean by his actions) Cain just happens to guide him into several things showing him the difference between what yahwi does and Jooin is open about it but not once have I seen him lead any of them on with mix signals Jooin and never look at Cain until Cain started to show him the goodness that is there (like the birthday and amusement park), after that Jooin hasn't even look back Yahwi.
Love, go back to chapter 82 where Yahwi and Jooin talked after he dropped Jooin at his mom's house. Before Cain called him for the first time after he went back to his home, he was thinking about Yahwi and said "I just wanted your affection, back then and even now, nothing's changed" meaning he still had feelings for Yahwi back then. Then go to chapter 86 when Yahwi brings up his past once again and Jooin looks at him with a disappointed expression and says "But you're still the same as you were. The only thing that's changed is our roles" meaning he thought he changed but was disappointed enough to recognize he never did. On the latest chapters, when Jooin told Cain to go back because his life was with his family just like he made his family in Korea, the first thing Cain thought was him with Yahwi, which means Cain already felt like a second option for him and still thought Jooin has feelings for Yahwi. If Cain still thinks this way, why do you think it is? False hope and mixed signals
Can this fandom please stop being so toxic? Everywhere I go is Cain stans vs Yahwi stans disrespecting each other over two fictional men, that once this manhwa ends, everything will be forgotten. I can't believe I waited a whole year for this manhwa to come back and then get to this point. I had faith in Yahwi. He changed the "idgaf about your feelings" to "I'm so obsessed with you, I can't let you go". He only went from bad to worse. Jooin still hasn't realized that he's better off alone and that his self esteem is getting worse. If we compare Jooin from the first chapters to the recent ones, he looks so bad and unhappy. I wish he would recognize he needs to prioritize himself other than people that are clearly pressuring him to make a decision. Cain treats Jooin better, yes, but he's just as obsessed as Yahwi. How come you think your only reason to live is another person? Also, the fact that you are willing to abandon your family, the ones that gave everything for you because you feel "entitled" to a person because of some "past life", it's clearly a mental issue as well. It's been forever since the last time I commented here but I would like to share my thoughts. This story for me was not good but not bad. Some things are realistic, some things not. But it's a fictional story so what's to be expected? I loved the character developments for both Yahwi and Cain (Cain's one made me bawl my eyes out). Wether people like it or not, people are allowed to change and it's possible. Not everyone in the world will remain a piece of shit. The past and our actions won't be erased, but we learn, apologize, take responsibility and change. It's okay to not want to forgive, but that doesn't mean the person didn't change even when they did whatever they could to amend it.
Glad it's over, but I feel a little nostalgic since I dedicated two years of my life to this manhwa. And people, please stop disrespecting others over fictional men, it's not worth it.
