I rmb saving this bc this is my favourite premise actually, i really love dense childhood friends (who are clearly in love) to lovers, but oh my god did i hate this so much. I binge read all the chapters in one sitting and it was dreadful for me personally. Seth deserves better and NOT the mc bc the mc was god awful, Seth had the most growth the whole story and at every step i felt so bad for him. When Seth asked mc what their relationship was and the mc just said how (something along the lines of) adults don't define relationships?? Huh??? I lost my shit then and there good god like how is that helping? Isn't that what sam was literally doing to the mc like giving mixed signals or whatever.. and originally like yes seth did say he didn't mind the mc only being with him bc he reminds him of sam, but i still felt really bad for him every time.
I'm just glad the mc and sam ended up together, they deserve each other. I feel bad for everyone else in the story. Idc seth deserves to be out of this whole mess and i'm glad he got away.
