honestly gonna let this marinate for like a year

i have read all the novels including kiss me liar but it was a while ago so i dont remember too much - but what i *do* remember is liking how kinda smoothly (ish) and fast they got together compared to other couples

i cant remember what the reveal was but i remember it being soon after this when like one of the other body guards tells him abt pete and he pieces it together with the whole scar and natural lube or whatever

but this just feels so slow like most of the chapters are just sex

as of me making this comment the raws go up to season 3 chapter 71 and tldr for people wondering if they should stick it out - i would say yes if u like grovelling LOL

gonna get the trigger warnings out the way - majority of its dubcon and very rapey :/ theres defo a power imbalance

the brown hair dude does get better and relatively quickly too the only reason its so long (70+ chaps) is because theres alot of side characters that fuel drama

they have it good for a bit although the root problem of their relationship (ml being a dick) doesnt rlly get addressed until the most recent chaps

bad bleach job (side mc) turns very morally grey starts getting weird with mc and interfering in his personal life under the impression hes sleeping with ML for unpleasent reasons

rainbow marriage couple starts beefing bc mc is looking into the wifes side piece (for context ML and his wife are in a rainbow marriage)

uhhh drug case drama - lots of threats

yh the top cries alot which thank the lord bc he is an asshole

anyway feel free to ask questions ^_^ i just spent my morning/early afternoon reading this slop bc i liked the art (as per usual)

i know there definitely alot of of gooners here im in the comments that are probs only reading this for the art and… visuals - which tbh is one its only appealing aspects in my opinion

bc can we be so real for a min - theres no way the author surely thinks we’re gonna think the mc is the villain in this story right? no matter how much they paint him to be (well if ppl have brains)

the ML literally FORCED him to be codependent on him to the point where its hard for him to do something (judo) he has dedicated his life to?? now im no expert on love - but if i love someone i wouldnt not allow them to do something they love and that makes them happy? IM ALSO NOT ASSAULTING THEM AND PURPOSELY ALTERING THEIR CHEMISTRY PERMANENTLY

like im sorry no matter how much that dude pretty cries and no matter how hot they make him he just pmo LIKE WDYM THE MALE LEAD HAS TO APOLOGISE i cant like him and forcing the MC to be the bad guy bc you cant find a way to make ur ML appealing other than making him pretty is just awful writing

but then again this is a fkin omegaverse BL so why am i expecting any less

edit: may i add with the comments reminding me - ITS JUST SUCH AN UNNECESSARY PLOT POINT bc its quite clear that MC likes ML or at the very least finds him attractive so if the ML just didnt pull this fkin rapey ass scenting bullshit THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ENDED UP TOGETHER EVENTUALLY WITH NO ISSUES - but hey that wouldnt make a “good” story according to bl writers

was stalking the authors twitter and this is like 100% the main couple there are two other side couples i think - one us alleyway guy and a blue haired dude, and the other is the screaming judo guy and a spiky red head ; btw this is just from me looking at the art so take it with a grain of salt

i think the only main gay pairing is probably just uyun and jinhyeong which imo im fine with although other pairings i think would be very entertaining and funny also
