I think that's just life, the mistakes you made or the person you were don't just vanish, they stay constantly in the back of your mind, reminding you of what once was, trying to pull you back in, like sand.

I love when the hair is drawn as black as a black hole. Using big shapes and the thinner strands gives it very interesting shape design.
