It is pedantic to say this is 3 panels?
The last "panel" only contains text, which technically makes it NOT a panel.
BUT, I believe the last panel contributes equally to the comic, acting itself as if it were a third drawing and therefore panel.
The two panels above it tell a straight forward story: "Guy meets Girl, Girl gets an ick".
With the third it makes a simple action into a whole story with a first, second and a third act.
It also adds layers. Is it saying ''END <3'' because the scene has come to an end? or is the comic meant to encapsulate his life trajectory as: "GMG,GGI. END of story"
Im gonna be positive and take this as a sign from the universe to dive deep into actual slave history. both in my own country and the USA.
Thank you so much for taking the time to actually educate yourself on this topic. A lot of people in this common section/thread refuse to acknowledge the disgusting facts about slavery specifically in the antebellum south where they ate, boiled chewed up and did so many more egregious things to Black people thank you for educating yourself instead of arguing with people who understand the topic. Have a good day queen !!
Oh that part I know, a core memory from school was when in history class I herd a teacher saying and I quote.
"The natives were forced to work and spend their bodies to such limits their intestines came of"
I don't even know how realistic that specific statement is but, as a Caribbean, we can see the consequences of slavery still influence from today's beauty standards to who our leader get to be.
The new shoes just there in the doorstep actually scared me...
Did Sanduel walk all the way, left the shoes and ran away?
He was planning on solving things with Kangwoo, but his stalker haunting him once more might have been the last thing he could bear with.
Hopefully he is just staying somewhere else that is not with that dude, if Mr. manipulation finds him in this state im going to be so mad.
