its BEEN real with the abuse and trauma, like the first rape scene with verc made me ill because of how real is mental state during it was. they wrote his compartmentalizing of his trauma genuinely really well. when you're vulnerable already, you're an easier target for further abuse. it probably makes it easier for predators to blame their victims when they can point to their history when its just people continuing to take advantage of their weak points.
and sometimes, when justice isn't received for your suffering, you tell yourself, "well maybe it wasn't actually all that bad" because if you have to contend with the fact that you were failed by everything around you, you might not be able to keep going. this is shown in his mentality, particularly in this episode but also thru every assault scene with verc

the way that he asks him if he's coming by his house, multiple times in multiple different eps, telling him he can come even when he's not drunk, just to hang out. and telling sangho he was excited to be seeing him when they were at work together in ep 12 or 13. yeongha saying in ep 15 he only was gonna check that text cause he thought sangho was interested otherwise he didnt care... he's so cute. i also like that he's blunt but his emotions don't really show on his face, mainly actions and words.
sangho i think Might like yeongha hasn't realized it yet and is uncomfortable with the possibility of a more romantic relationship - like in ep 14, he pulls away from him when yeongha says that they can do things other than sex, unless im misreading that. he could also have pulled away cause he realized he was too close to him in public? idk
