Ilay literally become obsessed with Tae. When Kyle was talking about how he likes Tae (in a non romantic way, meaning he is already fond if him) and why Tae is loved/liked by the people around him, Ilay got jealous that's why he said he just wants to kill him afterall. He wants to have Tae all by himself, not smiling for anyone, not being liked by anyone. I bet he wouldnt want anyone to breath the same air with Tae. Tae caring for anyone but him and his twisted obsession is growing because he is not like that with him. He rather kill him than Tae giving/receiving love/like/attention from/to anyone.

After rereading this, I now know why the netizens thought the artist’s drawing is “boring”. It’s because they are used to have their Manhuas to be drawn with excessive/over the top movements and reactions. Whereas this one doesn’t have anything like that. Well what they dont understand is it doesn’t have a need for that bec both ML and MC has apathetic and impassive personalities. Also, the lack of bright colors is bec the setting is post apocalyptic. . Well regardless, the art is beautiful. It's like having Heaven's Official blessing in a modern post apocalyptic setting.
The colors sets the atmosphere it's a great use of colors and yeah the mc n ml's emotions aren't meant to be expressive since they're just rly quiet ppl but whenever they show emotions it's clear to know what they're feeling. The atmosphere don't need to be happy or all that since this isn't a comedy manhua.

Let’s be real Jaekyung doesn’t even a hold a candle to Ilay when it comes to being a red flag asshole. He SA-ed Tae, he is a murderer, and the list goes on.. Man, infront of Ilay Jaekyung will just look like a helpless baby lol. But the reason why we don’t curse Ilay more than Jaekyung each chapter is bec Taeui fights and answers back to Ilay, he even made the decision to run away from him and gave him a parting gift lol. He’s terrified of him, yes but he’s not a weak pushover unlike Kim Dan that’s why there’s a bit of a satisfaction for us readers seeing them banter.
Agreed, I feel like the biggest reason Jaekyung gets way more flack and Ilay gets none is cuz Jk is constantly ripping into Dan's ass metaphorically, verbally, or physically every damn ch. Versus Ilay whose behavior towards Tay just doesn't feel as bad which like you mentioned is partly because Tay isn't a passive victim who let's Ilay step all over him and will fight and argue back. Also because he never srsly hurts Tay. Not excusing sa ofc but Ilay never takes things too far with Tay and listens to him to some extent except when he forefully went all the way with Tay after the poison incident. Buh compare that to JK who is constantly coming after Dan or fcking him selfishly and roughly wihout listening to a single word he says. Jk has zero fcking cool and attitude control compared to Ilay who manages to be calm, controlled, and scary at the same time without blowing his top at every lil thing. Sorry but there is no comparison between them. Jaekyung is literally a cliched written char, meanwhile illay has a lot of depth and is so much darker moral wise that it makes obvious who's a better character (worse). Same with Dan, who's extremely cliche the naive damsel in distres trope so when compared to taeui. Passion just has a much more darker writting. And I feel like we are used to ilay's maniacs that we don't really expect anything, because he was introduced in such a way in the story.

It’s clear that Hongyeon will be hostile towards pinkie after all what he did to him before that almost costed his relationship with Taejon. This was the same guy who kissed him without consent and even treated Taejon poorly.
ML has the right to get mad specially if these counseling sessions get in the way of their solo time together. They just got together, and obviously with the busy schedule they have as adults you would want to maximize the free time together specially you just got yourself in a relationship with the ones you like. Also, he knows Taejun is such a kindhearted pushover and can’t say no. I mean that’s probably one of his traits that made him love him. It’s a trait that you can just change like in weeks or months. Then there goes this pink cotton candy bish who will really push it just to get that counseling? I mean like Hongyeon I will also be livid.
Taejun's counseling sessions only need to confirm that they are a match which he already told him before. The session doesnt include more love advice or what he should do about his feelings or for them to get together. Go get a friend to confide to. That's the reason why Hongyeon drags Taejun after he already says what's needed to say. With Taejun's personality obviously he will just give in.

Well in the past chaps we already know that he knew Dojun likes him and he just enjoys the attention that's why he was threatened by step bro. Anyway you will see much more of a jerk this guy is. Dojun will be left gaslighted and will have panic attacks, will lose his phone etc. I really didnt get the conversation between him and Tae seok when they got reunited but from the vibes of it it isnt good. Im crossing my fingers it's not. There will also be a confrontation bet this jerk and Taeseok and he was unhinged that led to a physical fight bet him and Taeseok.
The step bro came in between them to stop the fight.
The next chapters are kinda stressful but the good news is frozen twink's ass was fired by Taeseok bec bish overstepped his boundaries.

Actually the conversation goes ok, and frozen twink fugly face does show up one more time and just adds on the guilt and shame Dojun already has a mountain of and he also smiles to himself and thinks “it’s a good day” however while not intending to help at all the things he says to Dojun about how Dojun always doing whatever he can to not see Taeseok as much as possible, leaves Taeseok sad and lonely but Tae just kept it to himself. Dojun’s big wake-up call is finally coming.
