I am really confused by these comments if you have been reading this story from the beginning you should not be surprised by the current events in this chapter. From the very beginning we have seen that Chase is severely depressed and on a regular wishes for death. The fact he has done so much drugs hoping not to wake up to escape his reality no one should be surprised that he is tired and just wants to end things at this point. Josh has not talked to him at this point on whether they would continue their relationship and the bodyguard contract is up so of course his mental state is worse than before. If your unable to take seriously depression and how it can effect someone you probably shouldn’t be reading this story. Especially if you can’t empathize with Chase and take seriously the things he has gone through in the past and present please just move on to another story instead of talking shit in comments.

Guess you blocked me but I am going to respond to your message anyways. So you’re telling me them going around town to find this supposed pass to get in. Wouldn’t be suspicious and weird and that there group wouldn’t find out about them trying to get in and get even more defensive than they already were. Literally in first chapters furin only got a problem with you if you start some shit but what did their group do that warrants them to be this defensive against them to not even hear them out. I understand they have ppl to protect but instead of immediately coming to the conclusion to start a altercation with them is dumb and more thuggish. They could easily ask them why they are looking for this person to see if they have malicious intent and decide to tell leader but they aren't. In regards to Sugashita he knew he was wrong that’s why he stopped immediately when Nirei called him out there wasn’t anything that big that happened so far for you to be as upset as you are or to throw around the word thug.
