This was my very first yaoi. I was lucky to lose my yaoi virginity on such a good story.

i like how you put it ლ(´ڡ`ლ) for me it was crimson spell

The disparate threads of this story are really difficult to follow.

I think this has to be the first yaoi story where the character of a schoolboy who gets into fights is drawn with obviously painful injuries, black eyes, contusions, scrapes and bruises. It isn't completely realistic in that we never see his eyes swollen shut, and he hasn't got the prizefighter's nose, but it isn't glamourous either. He hasn't got those artfully arranged bruises which lessen the sense of injury. Good for Chiba Yrouko for getting that right. It helps create a sense of urgency.

As for the other story, I prefer no scent, or the scent of soap and water or fresh shampoo. It was hard to get past that. I found it odd that such a neat freak would be drawn in by body odour. I guess it was meant to be ironic.

Not really I have OCD but my husband's scent has kept me for 13yrs. Got me hooked on the 1st whiff.

Blow me away! These stories are about the same thing, and it isn't the characters or their relationships to each other.

Slykitty August 19, 2015 7:23 pm

This makes no sense. I don't know why people who post these manga insist on breaking up the chapters on serialized stories like this. There is nothing in this story that tempts me to go hunt for the other components. If they had details that would've shed light on this sloppy seconds of a story, why would I care? It feels like they're fishing for hits and they wouldn't have gotten them if they didn't break up the manga like this and post it all over the site.

+1. Somebody put it on their Fluffy/Cute list. Barftastic!

    Chill out! August 20, 2015 10:01 am

Hello, I actually don't know who posted the chapters on this site, but the actual source comes from tumblr, so it makes more sense that the translator uploaded them as soon as he/she finished them.

Whew, HOT!

I love this mangaka's stories, even when they are sad and disheartening. Her characters are so realistic, even the villains.

Poor Yumi. I hope a happier future is in store for him. Masaya's love appears very airy and delicate-flower-ish so far. Why didn't he ever call or text? I can see why Yumi would see that as gutless and insubstantial ... unreliable and too frail to last, even. It may be that Yumi puts up with Kan-chan's abuse because at least someone is paying attention to him. It may be that, to Yumi, being invisible and ignored IS more painful than that atrocious abuse. Isn't that one of the things that drives masochism?

I think yumi lost contact with masaya and used kan-chan maybe to forget him That's why he's resentfull and beats yumi I guess

    Natsuna April 11, 2015 4:55 am

Did you miss the part where Yumi dropped his phone in water after graduation? That was their only way of contact, but it was lost (unless Yumi has the same contact info as before). Also, I don't see Mayama (who's Masaya?) as gutless and insubstantial. His every action shows his profound affection for Yumi. Even when he found out Yumi is going out with someone, he didn't give up and leave him. It takes a lot of courage to do that, because it hurts to know the one you love is with someone else. The unreliable and gutless one is Kan, who uses his lover as an outlet for his frustrations -- fully knowing his lover will just desolately accept it without retaliation. In essence, he's taking advantage of Yumi's feelings for him and making him out as a scapegoat of all his stress. I don't care if Kan genuinely loves Yumi. Anyone who unreasonably abuses their lover is scum.

I think you're right about the lost contact, and the use of Kan-chan. I also agree that's one of the excuses Kan-can uses to rationalize his inexcusable behaviour (seriously, the man's a psychopath and a criminal and needs to be in jail.) I wasn't disputing those points. I do think that Masaya or Mayama, whatever his name is, isn't coming across as someone that Yumi can depend on yet.

No, I didn't miss that part. I simply think it's a lame excuse and if Mayama had had any balls, he wouldn't have given up so easily. I'm sure they had friends in common while they were at school. I'm sure he could've asked the administration office to forward a message. There's all kinds of things he could've done if he had really cared all that much.

As for Kan-chan, you won't find me in disagreement about him. I think he needs to go to jail.

My comments are about Yumi, his mind, his messed up life with his boyfriend, and what he needs to do to break free. Because if he's depending on Mayama to rescue him, I think he's going to be disappointed ... again.

I find it disturbing and offensive that the topmost comment which has received the most approvals is an outdated and now irrelevant expletive about a Spanish translation that is no longer posted here. The moderator has corrected the mistake, but this comment and all its approvals remain, like crusted vomit for all eternity. It reeks of entitlement and cultural racism. Couldn't this issue have been handled with a simple flag? The comment itself has nothing to do with the manga.

    Anonymous April 11, 2015 7:26 am

yooooo I totally agree, it's rude, too. and tbh, it's the same as reading a raw, so I don't know why ppl are complaining.

    Ass-Hunter 2015 April 12, 2015 8:15 pm

It was rude but this IS an english manga website. If we don't want to understand the manga (or if we can read japanese) we read the raws. Though whoever can read spanish is luckier than everyone else.

Very cute! Lots of squee.

Poor Natsuo. Somebody get that boy a fire escape hatch FAST!
