Actually, it is not adark romance. BEcause usually in adark romancer. The comflict comes from the context around the couple. Like in Romeo and juliet. But here the pain iscaused by the love interest. Also the story neve explains or shows how and why they fell in love with each other. They share nothing in common and barely talk or do anything when they are together other than having sex. The story was better and more cohesive when it was a political, legal and mafia thriller. Where 2 people of 2 different worlds work ogether because they both need something from each other, while also having some sexual tension between them. Post ch 40 author wanted to make this a romance but there was 0 explanation asto why and how it happened. Also 0 character development. caesar never changes, never pays any consecuences for all he did to the ''love of his life'', and leewon went from a strong and cunny lawyer, to a weak person that tries to make any excuse for his lover's behavoir.
