meh story but i was still curious about everything so i decided to finish it. the art was good at first i guess but the change in artstyle in the middle sort of bothered me. and how unrealistic some parts are like a newborn baby is already on a carseat? also i think it was their first sex when soohan said something like yeonseo reaching his womb—girl the womb is where? i dont think the artist even did some research for the anatomy. lastly is the whole amnesia, i don't think it was even possible to just forget the whole new memories he made unless he got into another accident which would trigger his old memories to come back while the new memories are forgotten.
the story actually has the potential, i was invested with him trying to restore his memories and was investigating everything but i think the execution was just not it.
i can't edit my previous review comment since this will contain spoilers.
i honestly forgot everything i wanted to say the moment it was revealed that hamil conspired with the demon god (whatever they were called). i just felt so heartbroken and betrayed. i knew hamil doesn't have a chance with yeon but reading how yeon cherished him, i felt so bad for him. yeon most likely cherished him like a little brother/bestfriend so i at least wanted him to be happy by her side as a friend so when it was revealed that he was one of the antagonists—fuck, i hated it so much. i hated that the manhwa went into the direction of him being a villain. thankfully, he got reincarnated and was still reunited with yeon, the empress. that was still considered a happy ending for him.
next was the part where master nahora implied that wol-ah definetly knew yeon was a women and despite that, she still admitted her love for yeon. i couldn't stop crying because i thought she really won't be reincarnated anymore and i felt heartbroken for her. thankfully, there was a way to bring her soul back to the rebirth cycle (AND she also ended up with another woman im so happy for her!!)
choran and hae-eon too. i'm so fucking glad they didn't die.
lastly, i'm so elated with that panel of yeon announcing that the new emperor was a woman hahaha i'm so fucking happy they showed her abs and biceps i would've hated it if she was shown to have a feminine-like body (not that its not okay but i think it would go agains the whole point of the manhwa)
i honestly don't know what to say about yeon and doha's relationship. like i genuinely don't know whatbto say because they really made me feel all emotions and every interaction they had was so close to my heart. i am also happy that biseol is able to stay by yeon's side. althought he may have little to none chance to become yeon's consort, it's still fortunate that he still holds a special place in yeon's heart and yeon will forever cherish him.
overall, i really enjoyed reading this manhwa (to a point that i really sacrificed not studying just to finish it) and at the same time it broke my heart. i couldn't stop my tears reading about their lives: after rebirth or after the trials because they all have been through so much. (/TДT)/
currently at ch. 77 and so far, i love it so much. the yearning and the poetry, my gosh. this is the right amount of slow burn and also i love how gender doesn't matter in this manhwa like whether you're a man or a woman, it's all about your character. although doha had a momentarily identity crisis but still, he learned to accept it didn't even dwell on thinking he shouldn't love yeon for being a man (when he still doesn't know it).
my only problem is how in the initial chapter, yeon was definetly made to look androgynous—buff due to her training and her face and body may have been smaller but still can be dismissed as a man that is simply pretty but in the later chapters, she looked more feminine, delicate, and smaller. i guess its okay but i just find it disappointing because i LOVED her biceps ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
finished rereading this again and it really would be nice if we could have side stories >.< like maybe a chapter showing how hayden talked to brett's parents about him proposing? or a character switch? hahaha
finally decided to give this a try and omg this is peak. i love how the MC isn't some kind of naive or "idk what to do with my power, im weak af bohoo"-kind of MC because he really tries to understand his powers and is also smart. he's OP but not the kind of boring OP MCs because everything is just about how powerful they are . this one actually acknowledges that he still has a lot to work on and his team handles it if he can't. also, the villains are cool af!
cons: i just hate the name changes because i get so confused when they mention a name and i can't pinpoint who exactly they are talking about
havent been following this cuz i was waiting for it to complete but ive been checking the recent chapters from time to time, can someone explain the r*pe part? ive been seeing comments saying its rape but i thought they both agreed to it and the asshole simply tore because of dohu's roughness T^T
please i just want to be enlightened. if it was r*pe, was it dohu who was the victim or was it juheon? sorry im just confused...
BL have become so mainstream, the community is uncontrollable. only here will you witness someone consuming media ILLEGALLY but still has the audacity to complain and trash a translator who is doing everyone a favor by translating raw chapters FOR FREE. You were given an opportunity to be able to read more chapters than the official but no, you just had to be ungrateful.
If you think its messy then accept it because you don't have the right to demand when you are literally reading here FOR FREE.
henlo!!! plss pls pls someone recommends a manhwa like For Your Murder ╥﹏╥ bonus pts if with smut plssss pls ♀♀♀♀
this is like my 5th time re-reading this masterpiece (but skipping the early chapters hahaha) i want more of them ╥﹏╥
had this on hold for a vvv long time because i would get so frustrated. i understand why dojae is like that but personally, i wouldn't be able to handle a person like him–i mean i really did date someone similar to him and it is really a struggle to argue with someone who's sort of a 'logical' thinker and has difficulty understanding emotions. also, i find it so frustrating in the early chapters how euntak is always the one who has to give up his emotions to cater dojae's emotions but thankfully, they found a way to meet each other in the middle and of course, kudos to both of them–euntak for teaching dojae and dojae for being willing to learn.
dojae was wrong for seeing someone else during their "dates" but his jealousy is so valid here
bawling my eyes out. fuck them poly but their relationship as siblings is whats hurting me the most!
its driving me insane how they just cant seem to communicate with each other properly (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
