Nah she has every right to start a psychopathic villain arc im sorry- I wasn’t feeling the “I wish everyone would just drop dead” mindset she was having in that first chapter, but my god is it justified her violent “fantasy’s” are still crazy as hell, but holy shit I can definitely see where her frustration is coming from. Being put in situations where you’re cornered into being the “villain” that no one takes seriously and always manages to lose in every situation has got to be so maddening.

I thought maybe the story was gonna go in the direction where jiho would slowly build himself up as an individual and redeem himself as a person that’s confident enough to stand by yoojoon’s side after all that mess. But seeing how messed up jiho left yoojoon both times and not even being able to see his necessary struggle to both heal himself and atone for the pain he caused yoojoon kinda sucks ass imo. I was genuinely hoping to see his actual journey; only to get teleported four years later to when he actually felt okay enough to be with yoojoon.

And it feels like being a bumbling poor person with the face of someone rich is his only character trait rn and it’s so frustrating. Like, if he was all that with perhaps a “surprisingly” manly side of him that is actually competent at all kinds of odd jobs and is charmingly helpful to the other staff around the mansion then I wouldn’t be annoyed, I’d find that side of him charming. But it feels like at this point the author wants to really drill the fact that he’s poor and dumb into our heads. Does he change anytime later on or is this just his default for the rest of the story??

Hm i still dont fully get why rose never decided to be upfront or direct with yuri regarding her decision to not send yuri back. Im sure it’s hard to bring up the topic of yuris past to her but what else could she do to ease yuri’s anxiety and confusion? Obviously being shady about such a thing is going to backfire on rose’s decision and force yuri to go awol and find her own means of returning. It just doesnt make sense to me that rose decided to keep quiet about what she saw in her coma and her decision for 3 whole years while being completely aware of the fact that yuri’s trauma and past was still eating away at her all those years. It’s like knowing that your friend NEEDS therapy and healing but purposefully refusing to lend them a helping hand for years. I understand that rose is not a therapist or professional, but you would think she would have tried to at least find ways to help yuri cope or come to terms with her circumstances/past or something productive rather than let her trauma just sit and simmer for 3 years. Like, I still love rose but that was a very questionable choice she made. Whether or not rose understands yuri’s pain, she at least should understand that keeping something like that from her would only hurt yuri more over time.
