Spoiler question:
Is the bed not magic? Why is she worried about being infertile if they plan on using magic?
Or was that a translation mess up? (I actually don't think she is infertile, I think her ex is and Rashta's baby isn't his) but even if she is they brought up thr magic bed thing and now im really confused

Spoiler answer[I think]…..
Wasnt it that She was never infertile and it was actually that bastard who was infertile, because he was the one who actually ate those infertile cookies(idk lol, something like dat). If I remember correctly trashta isn’t even pregnant with his child. And I read somewhere that navier got pregnant very easily and got twins to sum stuff.

However, Navier was cured thanks to the magic bed. She became an ice mage and gave birth to Laurie and Kai.
And you're right, Rashta's child is said not to be Sovieshu, but that matter is left inconclusive by the end of the novel. The majority of the fandom thinks that the baby definitely isn't his, while there are some people arguing that she actually is Sovieshu's daughter and that the paternity test was tampered with. Especially because of Duke Ergi's note to Sovieshit and the fact that the priest commited su1c1d*

Can anyone tell me what is happening in chapter 86 and 87? Like, what does she read in that library? I am thankful to the translators, however, translation is a little wonky here so I don't understand what she found in the library and why it is concerning. Thank you

so basically the story or rumour about swan hall is that in the year 687th, swan hall was originally a chapel for high priests, but the emperor ordered the chapel to be remodelled as a palace for his beloved empress to express his love. when she first walked in, she shed happy tears. it starts to get concerning because the story takes a turn and reveals that the emperor witnessed the empress and his son, the imperial prince, the empress’s stepson, in bed together. in a fit a rage the emperor pulled out his sword, presumably to kill them or point them to execution. shuli is concerned because of 3 main reasons. 1, she is aware of the rumours that jeremy could be holding off his marriage with ohera because he’s in love with shuli, his own step mother, sort of mirroring the story of swan hall. 2, cardinal richelieu was the one who recommended shuli to look up this story as it may “benefit” her. those two have a bad history of encounters. 3, there’s seemingly a death threat or an extreme warning that comes with knowing the story of swan hall now, as the story ended with the empress and prince dead. hope this made sense
I'm so tired.
