not fully caught up yet but im actually rofl when i see ppl taking about how Luan can't be redeemed and acting like he committed some deeply unforgivable crime. bffr if it happened to be any other person and not clauden who got beat up, aka someone who actually deceived him, ppl would be celebrating it or at the very least be ok with it.
it doesnt exactly justify his behaviour but it is 100% understandable, and honestly if luan just sincerely apologizes and makes amends, explaining his circumstances, then their relationship should be healable. like i didnt find the ending tragic at all since it can be so easily fixed.... those wounds are gonna heal eventually and the trauma experienced should be mitigated by the fact the action had like, no hostile intentions to him as a person. considering clauden fully saw luan's affection for him and was loving in return, its kind of crazy he was so easily able to set the relationship aside. anyway unless luan does smthg insane soon he's basically faultless in my eyes

if the theory of anybody other than jay taking the dope given by vinny is true im going to be mad cause like... what would the point of that even be?? sangho has a grudge against mahon and consequently his nephew, so he wants to discredit jay. If dom is on dope then uh... why would that satisfy sangho?? he hates JAY he doesnt care about anybody else?? why would he continue to support vinny if he didn't fulfill the one requirement given to him? it would be stupid if vinny did, cause itd be betraying his friends for no particular reason.. at least with jay its somewhat understandable.
Well it wouldn't matter who on the team took the dope wouldn't they be disqualified anyway? I think it would turn out that whoever wins has taken the dope.
well, the authors style is usually to have hummingbird struggle at the start of a race then have some unexpected comeback. if vinny and hyuk stay distracted with jay then imo its good news for the three in the rear, id honestly be disappointed if the three of them can't deal with joker and wooin. itd be a little predictable to have jay kinda play as a distraction then have dom/june be the trump card at the end once more. its been a while since jay has actually won of these races and id love to see shelly play a more impactful role.
a lot about vinny's actions are a bit questionable to me but im genuinely curious if he thinks sabbath crew is just gonna give him all the money if they do win the tournament lol? those ppl who are equally obsessed w money as vinny...? hummingbird was fully willing to give the prize money to vinny but literally why would sabbath do it? if he doesnt think that, then how was he expecting to make the promised quick and easy money if not with illegal dopes and whatever? did he think the street vids were enough to pay off the massive amount of money he needs?

but if anybody else aside from bada was a player, then how come bada never noticed new endings/items etc that he didnt achieve popping up in the book? i think bada's like the only og player because wasnt it confirmed that even if in a session he doesn't save his game, he'll retain his memories but not his progress? so would it be possible to make bada forget the game if he doesnt save it? probably not right? same goes for doha, does he need to continue putting in the cassettes and only then will he keep his memories? also unlikely, so i think the cousin is just kinda a fluke for now like the blue-haired guy and happened to stumble upon a cassete, but i dont think he's literally a player.
