i think guwon is just a very simple minded guy, or rather, he's innocent and new to the world. he upholds certain principles bcs that is what he is used to, or what he knew first, and doesnt fully see anyone except the teacher as an equal, so he doesnt listen to them. but tbh, if the teach were to reason w him and teach him morals and wtvr, i think he'd listen.
