To be honest, I expected more for the art style because this novel is a bit popular but the art style didn't reach my satisfaction. The Character design lacks life and uniqueness, fhe characters lools exactly like each other.
Me too, the art from the beginning wasn't that bad, but as it progresses...
In the beginning it was really good because most characters had distinctively different shaped faces, jaws (when looking at a profile), eyes. Now we see the artist cutting corners on detailing characters, a lot of the times we see them faceless during dialogue or it pans out to the background.
On the positive side, the background has become much more detailed, where at the beginning it was very simple and very little wide shots, so the world felt much smaller.
So I guess the focus has shifted from characters to the bacgrounds, because the story is picking up and there are going to be many events on a large scale happening.
Though I am glad the artist fixed the character designs now compared to the start of this new season, because the first few chapters in this season they were wayyy off.
I really loved how the art style capture how the scene was suppose to be at the novel. It's Chef kiss, I wish the other actor manhwa can do this too!!
I totally agree! Be the Actor also did a great job capturing the scenes. I just wish I Was Mistaken as a Monstrous Genius could have done the same.
