That's not the point though. It's the fact that he showed Cirrus his most vulnerable moments because he believed in Cirrus at the time, only to realize he'd been played a fool. He was just another pawn in Cirrus's manipulation game and he felt betrayed. Plus Skylar has severe trust issues which A LOT of readers are forgetting which means the betrayal is so much more significant to Skylar. You all need to start looking at this from both their point of view and you'll realize both are the cause of their relationship falling a part

I agree with everything you said. Cirrus has trauma and so does Skylar. It doesn't give Cirrus and excuse to hurt and manipulate the people around him no matter how much he loves them.
