you will begin to see josh take the lead in most of their relationship as chase is incredibly inexperienced to any sort of romantic relationship (also a virgin before he met josh.. which is probably why he didnt immediately clock josh as an omega when there was literally slick coming out of his ass)
chase acts the way he does because of trauma and honestly all i remember is sitting through a good 10 chapters of just chase suffering..
there’s some kind of a love.. line? not sure how else to describe it but it was a minor thing in the novel. mark likes isaac, isaac likes josh, and josh is kind of down bad for chase (chase eventually returns those feelings, ofc)
i really enjoyed reading the novel because it was simple enough and i just really felt bad for chase.. josh took a LONG time to fully reveal to chase that he has a kid (i think this happened in the second to last chapter of the main story) but i can sort of understand that it is hard to break that kind of news. im pretty interested and excited for how the manhwa adaptation is going to go!
