Its only up to ch 6. I don't have good japanese so I might misunderstand or like there are some things said that might be incorrect. So mc goes to the same school as the twin and the twin princes including his fiance. From the beginning he was already being secluded by other people bc we see his twin with like lots of friends. Mc does make another genuine friend though. Mc works really hard in school so that he can stay his fiance's betrothed bc the one in line to the throne is mc's fiance so whoever gets to marry him will become queen. Mc and fiance talks quite a bit in school and both actually kissed once bc mc really wanted a kiss from fiance in which fiance indulges. He also stumbles on mc's brother who kinda defended mc when a group of people talk behind his back in the library (with him not knowing that mc is listening) and mc said that the brother's very nice actually. But the brother kinda said something ominously like the fiancé is playing with mc. But mc is really in love with the fiancé so he works really hard in school (ranking 12th the whole school) but his brother got 1st. He got super depressed and studied more and more until he discovers that he could probably learn dark magic as his specialty. He goes to the dark magic's building and meets kinda like a teacher so he starts learning dark magic. I forgot what happened between this but both princes make a public appearance and like introduced their fiances (the cats) and the crowd cheers. Then mc's brother makes a comment on how hes been thinking for a while and he wants to learn dark magic. Mc was really hurt by this bc he thought he found something that he could master and be better at than his brother. So he kinda crashes out and fiance comes to console him with fiance' brother saying again that hes being played. Then school starts again and theres another exam where mc's rank drops. He cries and I forgot what happened here but he gets comforted by his fiance. Its then revealed that from the beginning the fiance was never meant to marry mc, he was to marry mc's brother. The king already decided that his successor will be mc's fiance so he must marry the 'superior' twin. This broke mc's heart bc mc said he really loves fiance and wants him to choose mc instead. Fiancé said he tried bc he was naive once and thought that he could marry mc if he asked but that wasn't it. Fiancé said he can't marry mc while mc still begs for fiance to choose him. It ends there for ch.6

It's midnight here and I'm having an EXTREME CRASHOUT !! I personally feel so wronged and abandoned by reading what happened to mc and I REALLY want burn everything down ... I'm literally biting on my pillow but from rage and anger and screaming silently my lungs out ARRRGHHHH (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Yep! Completely agree with you. The novel was more detailed and they talks/shows the characters' feeling more. I know adaptation will have some parts cut off, but this manhwa cut off the most important part (which is the emotions and their struggle) and that makes the characters appear a bit too flat.

Like the way MC escaped from the kidnappers, I'm sorry but I didn't feel any tension during that. The novel showed MC's struggle more.

Yeah its such a shame bc the premise and plot is really good. You rarely see a more realistic approach to transmigration :/
