The comments below mine are saying they love the older brother but wasn’t he the one that basically abandoned yaba after yaba took him to get treatment for coca, and then when yaba tried to stop home and keep him in the house cus he was obviously addicted to cocas singing he like punched or slapped yaba away???
It’s because he has a condition (autism I think? I forgot), so ppl are more forgiving and don’t think he did it out of maliciousness.
autism doesn’t excuse that and all the sexual abuse he also committed that wasn’t(so far) shown in the manhwa but was in the novel as well as the many more awful things i’ve heard he’s going to do. not saying that’s what you believe but it’s still such a dumb excuse cause autism doesn’t equal incompetence, even for those with high support needs like yaba’s brother.
Well I’m speaking for those who have not read the novel and only know the limited and brief information from the manhwa so far. Not saying his autism excuses the actions he did in the novel at all, ofc he’s hated by novel readers. I am one myself. I’m just trying not to spoil the story to everyone lmao. As you can see the original commenter did not mention any sexual abuse, so it’s likely they know nothing of the novel and only the beginning of the manhwa- so you technically just gave a spoiler without warning lol.

You guys its awful terrible not excusable but i still feel bad for the brother because of the autism. It reminds me of the story “of mice and men” when he wanted to pet rabbits but he was too strong and then he accidentally killed that woman. Would not want to be yaba at all his life was so traumatic. Also i think he has autism induced by blunt force trauma for protecting yaba from their dad. And if you add that the lore is that yabas singing is magically seductive i do feel bad for him. But also on top of the abuse he went to coca on mcs special program he wanted so badly for him to be at and thats why yaba ended up here in the first place fucking sad af story
idrc if i spoiled it for someone it was already pretty clear he’s a terrible person and the op acknowledges that. if anything i’m just giving them more context and another reason to hate him lol.

Like is he actually okay and another thing I would like to point out is that the MC is somehow SCARED of the ML sometimes for example I think in one of the previous chapters the ML grabbed his wrist really hard and gave in a ‘scary look’ and he actively avoided the ML for like days (I don’t know if this actually happened please tell me if it did or didn’t) BUT YOU DONT AVOID THE EX THAT LITERALLY STABBED YOU AND YOU EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO HANG OUT IN A COFFEE SHOP WITH HIM???? If that doesn’t scream stupid that idk what does. I’m just so sick of how the author wrote the MC it’s so stupid and so annoying to read and look at that at this point I’m just reading for the ML cus clearly the MC does not have the backbone to stand up to his EX that clearly nearly killed YOUR MOTHER FUCKING CRUSH!!!! No cus why tf is he all bark and no bite like some ugly ah chihuahua (not dissing chihuahuas btw) sighs lets just hope and pray for the ML to be at peace and utter happiness not matter what comes the MCs way cus at this point I would honestly be glad if the MC got stabbed again and the EX jumped of a building, went splat on the pavement, and got hit by a truck, a car, a motorcycle, and then 3 lorrries and even that wouldn’t fully satisfy my utter rage towards these two obnoxiously annoying and unworthy of life characters.
