Tho I do like kmiyc amongst the author's novels (within her omegaverse novels) I won't deny this was a bit dragged and kinda rushed(?) ending imo, I only let it slide since this was literally from 2018 like kml being from 2017. Imo kmiyc could've been a bit better if Chase and Josh's first meeting was also addressed, and I also question why the side stories is called "side story" when it's literally a continuation of the main story. When I mean "just a continuation" I meant it's not even a time skip... Or maybe that's just me, but that's just how I feel since there are other plot points that could've been added other than what we had (Ik there's gonna be a new side story for them)... But again as I said, this was published in 2018, imo it's the characters personality(?) (especially the couple's dynamics) and art is what made many people like this even tho the plot is very simple. Same opinion I have with her ongoing one, Deflower Me, plot wise it's not that 'great' imo, but the characters makes you want to read them, or not it depends, I like Bliss' a lot and I respect Cassian for having balls of steel against THE Ashley Miller lololol

That's the thing, it's not that simple, Joshua always considered their relationship was only a fling like his previous relationships until he realized later on that he cared for Chase more than he thought. He's literally struggling to say "I love you" when he had said them casually in the past, this was the first relationship that he was very serious about. He already said previously that it was a bit too late to tell about Pete to Chase, meaning his reluctant about the topic and how would Chase react especially it's been years. I need y'all to remember Chase's personality, yes he quite change now, but Josh's concerns are valid, and it's only this time he's sure that he'll be honest with Chase. Even in the next chaps he's still having a hard time to tell Chase the truth because again, he's scared of how will Chase react. This story happened just in the span of months, not even a year yet mind you.
The "is she your sister too?" is done, now the "Choose me not her" part is next oh Chase haahhahaha
They really really toned down Chase a lot in the manhwa huh I remember him being quite aggressive(??) in that phone number saving scene, not that they changed his character, present manhwa Chase still aligns with novel side story Chase
They changed the cafeteria scene, well not like it's a big change. I'm more concerned about the fact that we're most likely have 4-6 chaps left , I can't let them go yet, I hope they adapt the sides coz it's literally just the continuation of the main story lol

A little fun(?) fact for non novel readers, there's a reason why they immediately said that "so Josh gave birth to Pete", not just because he's an omega, but in this verse male omegas cannot get anyone pregnant
Also another fact that was cut is a line about Henry could just break/put another mark on top of Josh's mark (forgot who said lol sry) this is said in kml but lemme say it here, once alphas are marked here they cannot be marked by anyone other than the omega who marked them (edit: and can only be removed once the omega who marked them dies), but omegas can be marked by many alphas and alphas can break another alphas mark
I really should've let this manhwa adaptation end before reading the novel instead of the opposite

The more I reread this chap the more I get a bit sad, yeah I'm happy seeing this illustrated but it never felt the same way when I read the novel :')) Chase's situation here is really different, the way he's trying to fight his kidnappers off and those omegas urgh idk how to explain istg if they did this pace in the next chap too oh no no no, that's literally one of the best scene they better not
I think there's a slight difference here from the novel iirc the kidnappers (at least the one who got bitten) and the omegas trying to get chase into a rut, I think there's 3 o, are different... But here they're the same... I think??
Also why is the manhwa keep cutting off scenes of Chase biting people lmao, first with Duncan's tounge now the kidnappers hand lololol istg they really toned him down a bit here, I always loved whatevers wrong with him hahaha
I can understand manhwa only readers since the fact that chase is inexperienced, josh is his first and only at that, will only be revealed next chap.... But some of u really ignoring some facts/clues already said in the earlier chaps: He hates pheromone parties y'know what happens there, tends to hate being around people, Fear of dogs since he was made to believe he done it with a dog, easily blushes a lot even when just teased and this latest chap he said he wants to ignore the signs since he's scared Josh will leave him if he acts out again... You can deduce a bit that he may have bad experience in anything related to sex with just that... Makes me think if some actually paid attention
Don't get me wrong I find the Chase Dumbmiller jokes funny I really like them lol, but some people really treat him like a absolute fool and only that :v it's more on he's ignorant and chooses to be one when he finds out
Ok so I wasn't going crazy, IT WAS A LONG SKIRT/DRESS (around knee length) in the novel, cos I remember josh reaching for the hem of the skirt, it kinda added to the teasing part idk how to explain, josh something getting edge like that, but they decided to give him a mini skirt here, not complaining tho
