Maybe this is rude idrc, but if you're going to complain about the pacing, just go read any other bl where they kiss, fuck, and makeup within 10 chapters. For a slowburn, it's moving along quite well, and the author has been building this plot on since the very beginning, I thought that was obvious enough but I guess not. There would've been no point in constantly having Park Gitae appear during the college arc, or showing Juheon's aunt infere with his life, or bringing up Dohu's inability to "function normally," had it not been for plot building. A lot of bls these days are kinda just slop with bad drama that gets sidelined by constant sex, and misunderstandings are oftentimes flimsy and genuinely could be solved easily, but it's much more different here. It's not JUST a "misunderstanding," the author already showed that Juheon's aunt threatened to mess with Dohu while they were still in college, and from Juheon's pov, he doesn't know if he can trust Dohu again without having their relationship blow up in his face once more. For Dohu, he doesn't understand what Juheon is planning or what's motivating him nor what his "plan" is—having one talk won't just fix every outward issue, and for two emotionally closed off/unavailable/avoidant people, it's that much harder to just sit and have a conversation.
