This was such a nothingburger story like genuinely ass why are y'all glazing so hard

Bruh what do I even keep expecting omfg

Genuinely I don't think there's any coming back from this, no matter how they might try to twist it into a love story, it literally just can't happen atp

I love the confliction going on here in the comments because he's not like..a huge red flag to the point it'd me blacklist this story, but as I read I oftentimes stop and go "what the hell is your problem?" LIKE. He's definitely fairly manipulative but I don't see him as totally evil, definitely an asshole but I GUESS he's been pretty open to Jinwoo and Jinwoo knows he's got issues, plus maybe I need to give this a quick reread but they're actually super chill idk. Taeyoung isn't like the unfortunate bl top who just rapes the mc and then starts fucking over everything they have going on, so maybe I'm just satisfied with the bare minimum here being a guy in need of attention with a yellow flag personality.

I'm not ready for whenever Shutline ends bro, I'VE BEEN HERE FOR YEARS, THROUGH THICK AND THIN. I WAS ON THE FRONTLINES GETTING SHOT AT WITH THEM ACTUALLY fawwkk I love them

Maybe this is rude idrc, but if you're going to complain about the pacing, just go read any other bl where they kiss, fuck, and makeup within 10 chapters. For a slowburn, it's moving along quite well, and the author has been building this plot on since the very beginning, I thought that was obvious enough but I guess not. There would've been no point in constantly having Park Gitae appear during the college arc, or showing Juheon's aunt infere with his life, or bringing up Dohu's inability to "function normally," had it not been for plot building. A lot of bls these days are kinda just slop with bad drama that gets sidelined by constant sex, and misunderstandings are oftentimes flimsy and genuinely could be solved easily, but it's much more different here. It's not JUST a "misunderstanding," the author already showed that Juheon's aunt threatened to mess with Dohu while they were still in college, and from Juheon's pov, he doesn't know if he can trust Dohu again without having their relationship blow up in his face once more. For Dohu, he doesn't understand what Juheon is planning or what's motivating him nor what his "plan" is—having one talk won't just fix every outward issue, and for two emotionally closed off/unavailable/avoidant people, it's that much harder to just sit and have a conversation.

I'm so...?? Obviously him being fucking chained up automatically made me pause, but for just a moment the way they spoke to each other (like sarcastically and harshly) seemed semi-mutual, then it dwindled back into everything I was hoping it wouldn't be. I seriously don't want to drop this but if it turns into another rape slop story with a kidnapped mc and an insanely toxic ml, I'll lose my mind

I'm camping here obsessively waiting for the next chapter and God I'm so stressed about it turning into unnecessary rape and toxicity. I still have faith obviously and I'm soooo so so ready to read it

This is genuinely such a good fucking find, read in one sitting and I'm so hooked I NEED IT TO RETURN ALREADY FUCKK. Unfortunately I can't get over Colonel Kang's og look, HE WAS SO CUTE LIKE THAT I'M SORRY I HATEEE THAT HE'S A TWINK NOW I'M MOURNING HIS OLD SELF, please bro at least dye your hair back or workout more this new body is killing me
