Why even bother adding such an emotional storyline between MC and his father if the ML isn't going to react to it appropriately? The author might try to bring it up later but that's just not natural, how can he witness someone in tears confronting their father and just go straight to sex. Absolute madness. The title is so off-putting. There's a weird trend of comparing darker skinned characters to animals in manga and this one falls into the same pitfall. Captive "beast"??? It's one thing for the characters in-story to be racist cause, yeah, but the inclusion in the title just feels a bit icky and it becomes more than just an insult towards the ML, as it's now his primary identifier.
And before anyone tries to rip me off my soapbox for being too woke, this is exactly the kind of dehumanising language Europeans used to describe my people to make themselves more comfortable while they committed their crimes, I feel like I can comment on it.
Never forget, language is one of war's most effective weapons. Watch how Israeli media describes Palestinian people, listen to the words they use. "Beasts", "vermin" and "cancer"; all things that threaten order and need to be stamped out or controlled. The same language can be found in racial genocide after racial genocide. The Rwandan Massacre, The Holocaust, The Armenian Genocide, a pattern throughout history. Recognise it and call it out. Don't let them pull the wool over your eyes.

While this is true, I think we should be careful not to make this out to be an issue only found in manga, as even though it can be more subtle in manhua and manhwa, it is still present. Victims of a crime can still become perpetrators. Trust me, sometimes my own mother says things so bigoted my jaw goes slack, and she lived through the Biafran War (another ethnic massacre). This is an overarching issue throughout this space. Once we start making it an us versus them thing, we have lost.

well duh, korea and china also enslaved their own population. even now, there's modern slavery in korea where homeless and mostly disabled ppl are coerced and kidnapped to do unpaid work on some island in korea, with the help of the local government and local population letting them do it as if it's normal. and when there were olympic games a few decades ago, korea kidnapped "vagrants" (wether really vagrant and homeless ppl or by tricking and kidnapping regular poor ppl, from children to the elderly) and forced them to do construction work in preparation for the olympic. 2 birds in one stone, free labor and "cleaning" the street so they're pretty for the tourists. on china, i don't know particular moderm cases, but slavery of the common ppl was prevalent throughout its history, they don't even hide it in historical dramas and webtoons
