I read to chapter 61 of the light novel, honestly it’s so annoying how bad the attendants treat him, it gets worse. He’s 5, and he’s still a prince no matter how low ranked he is, servants should not be treating him this bad?! They are lucky he just wants to leave, does royal blood mean nothing? He could have them executed with a little plotting.
In the light novel some of these servants and knights get so brazen with him, one bastard even tells him, a five year old prince mind you, that he’s nothing but a sacrifice for the other princes and factions to vent their anger against and actively wants to see our prince suffer. And that is brushed over completely, other than Bedi and the maid getting upset, no one gives af and that knight is still around and still harassing the MC (even worse this knight was TRAINED by MCs grandfather, idolizes the grandfather, and instead of protecting his teachers grandchild, he goes out of his way to make the MCs life difficult while dutifully serving another prince)
Like genuinely the only people that care for MC is most of the princes (even that is shifty cause only 1st prince, crown prince, and glasses prince treat MC like family), his knight, his maid, and the 1st prince’s butler. The MCs mother does not give a single shit about him like at first, I thought she was an air head but still cared, but actually found out she doesn’t care about him at all. She barely visits him, and only comes to see him to complain about the King not visiting her. Our boy really was born in a rough scenario. Even when he and another prince was kidnapped (as usual they wanted the other prince and MC was just collateral). They left MC on the floor while the other prince was put on a cushion with a blanket, they really hate him out here
I feel like even though he presents as vampire, there might be more to him, maybe some type of dragon. He feels like a hybrid, and I think the secret might be one of those “forbidden birth” tropes.
I see it’s translated to chapter 12 but it’s locked behind a paywall (the paywall is so complicated too that I gave up trying, it’s PhilliaScans they want you to buy gift cards to then use on the site and it confused the hell out of me)

I don’t like that the author is clearly making Arya a love interest, because she is not only his sibling (adopted but Japan is gonna incest wherever they can) but also she essentially stole his life. The king shows zero affection towards MC, he only shows guilt towards the situation and his dead wife, he has 100% replaced MCs spot with Arya and I don’t think that is good at all.
The king is even encouraging the relationship between his foster daughter and biological son, telling her to “do her best”. This is very strange. The king should have not visited at all, he’s not acknowledging the MC as his kid, and wants to continue to have the adopted daughter cosplay as his only kid. So their meeting was actually useless? Also it seems like he is gonna bring a lot of trouble into the MCs life, he also spoiled his daughter, so he will always choose her over his biological child. Like the scene where he lifted up the fake daughter, and the MC was staring (thankfully his adopted father saw and lifted him too) really resonated with me that the King isn’t ever going to love the MC the same way. He did a disservice to the “love of his life”, he was too weak to protect her, and an asshole who abandoned his kid. And now the abandoned child is being shipped with his replacement
I know his mother is rolling in her grave, she really picked a loser, thank goodness her friends are good people and her son is amazing too.
Praying that whatever he gives birth too is humanoid cause he would be AN AWESOME MOM/DAD He raised his sociopath brother so well I just know his babies are gonna be loved to death
Also if the guys are protective of him now, when they realize he’s about to give birth LMFAO
This is one of the best stories I’ve read, I was locked in the entire time, I like our MC and core group of characters a lot (I do get confused every now and then as many people, especially the older men, look identical to each other and idk who is who)
Hope this continues, I want to see his children, I need to know when the bank guys mothers affair get exposed, so many things are happening. I am sad the grandfather died, he was a cool character but he had one interaction with the MC and died.
This is such a goofy plot line I know the author wants to flex he’s a genius, but no school would do this to try to TURNDOWN a *checks notes* wealthy, backed by a conglomerate, celebrity, GENIUS kid just because he’s asian. In fact since this is the 80s and 90s racism would work in his favour cause he would be racial profile as the “Asians are super smart and good at anything academic” stereotype, so I think they would want him even more.
Even universities wouldn’t do this much back then (you could just buy your way in) hell instead of fighting him the school would have demanded he is on one of their academic teams so they could make money off him, not fight to not let him in.
They do realize he could have just destroyed the machines, why did she involved her brother? Did the royals know? Just turn off the auto mans stone machines and go on with life.
Did his father have some type of disease, how did both his “wives” die like a year apart. Did he poison them, or did they not have any money and got ill? I’m confused.
It’s so weird when people don’t treat him like a child sometimes, also it’s hilarious that they made it seem so hard and prejudiced to get into a foreign prep school, when in reality they would welcome any kid that could boost and maintain the marks of their school, especially a child actor who had a millionaire backer
