If your into manhuas sissy is a good one although I don’t remember the plot that much I remember their was a really long groveling arc and their is also Stand-in Relationship.

If your not that into manhuas theirs a manhwa called banana scandal we’re in s2 it has a really good redemption arc even tho I think this one counts as popular if you haven’t read it pls give it a try.

And I also have one personal rec Fall in Love with the Substitute in which the mc does not get back together with the ml but gets with the person he was standing in for even tho it’s a bit cliche pls try it out if you liked the first two manhuas I recommend(it’s more of a turn your brain half off read.)

If they upload it on a already existing free to use platform like mangago, bato or (rip) mangadex, no. They just do it for fun. If they have a website they run ads or have paid chapters on, they get money, tho not very much.

It depends on the scan, they mostly translate bc they want to, but there are some scans where they pay, the thing is that those are big scans, and there are others where readers donate to the translator when its a independent translation
