I think the competition has restrictions for their classes. Since close combat mainly involves using mana to amplify or change the body to fight its the restriction they can only use it on themselves but I’m sure after the comp we’ll see him use other techniques from all departments maybe

I just love the poetic justice there is in alecto realising that the one person who loved him for who he was, was the person he drow to end her self becaue he was so blinded by what others had told him to think of her. imagine if he had not been a dumbass and had seen eric for who she was to begin with. they cld have all 6 been friends instead of what happened and all thanks to soe little prince not being able to see what was right before him.
