That’s how it’s SUPPOSED to be written- because the characters are in a point in their relationship where they’re not in sync and can therefore not mutually enjoy intercourse.
It’s like reaching Chemical equilibrium in chemistry- when the mass of the product in unequal to the mass of the reactants, it reaches a stalemate that those back and forth until it can properly balance itself. In chemistry, that’s never, but this is fiction so, I guess there might be a chance.

The truth is, he was r*ped by Enzo once, and he is still being controlled through blackmail, intimidation, and the power imbalance between them. So with Enzo’s violence, manipulation, and the amount of fear and pressure he’s under, being a bottom isn’t really his main concern right now — he’s just trying to get out of the hellhole he’s trapped in and survive.
