he isn’t in contact with her outside of the fact that he gave her money for her wellbeing. Byul is still in contact tho but dojin said he didn’t think it was a good idea and was too scared to even bring it up. Also at the end he said he didn’t know about the house at all.

Dojin should’ve just told Hyesung, but he clearly knew it wasn’t right so he hid it. But I’m glad Hyesung is making his decision to see her, hopefully just closure finale. I just hope couple have a discussion about this. I feel like this should’ve all been solved in the main story.
