Don’t worry they apologised for the chapters with racism themes and completely removed them. So now the stories are fine and doesn’t touch on sensitive elements they don’t have much knowledge about.

I'm not defending the racist scene. So don't.
I am defending the fact that people don't give this story a chance even after they artist took it down and apologized. It's a fact that up until recently, people ignored what they didn't like and didn't comment but now everyone has to let everyone know they dislike something and if you still support something you are inherently a bad person which is completely wrong.
so, no, I don't think its wrong to defend a story that took accountability. If you do not like something, don't engage with it.

I am just tired of people not giving things a chance and ignoring what they do not like. I could understand if the artist kept going with that storyline despite the backlash, and then it could warrant the hate it was getting.
But the fact remains, it is a popular story and the artist took accountability. So not giving a story a chance and continuing on with the hate is one thing. It was a statement, don't engage with things you dislike, it's common sense.

As if having a racist arc wasnt bad enough for ppl to not give it a chance that is more than enough.. lol "u gotta give it a chance tho" he says, ur acting like it was a silly slip when no.. I must admit, I read gay romance, I dislike hetero and lesbian romance, because it's just not my tea. But I get it in regular stories, so I just read the story and don't care, the plot or characters itself aren't doing worse for it, I simply don't care about the romance itself. But in Action, sure I wouldn't complain if it was gay (I'm not gonna lie here), I'd still much prefer no romance at all, because it doesn't fit the plot, most of the time. It doesn't fit the plot, doesn't fit the characters and we barely actually have time for it. So many stories are worse for their romance subplots that nobody fucking asked for.
ESPECIALLY since most of them are ass.

RIGHT! I'm a very big fan of gay romance (be it Yuri or yaoi) and every single romance-action manwha I end up consuming is yaoi because EVERY thing else is slop, rushed or just ass. Like you said, sometimes the characters barely even have time to be worrying about just love in general??? And tbh, i purely dropped this one because the two characters for me seemed like it was purely rushed. He only ended up falling for her because of the whole role thing to me.

Id prefer if my action wasn't romance based at all actually! It's way more better that way and u don't have to worry about the plot going haywire or something of the sort but when you actually go and look for some... It's either axed, dropped by a scanlation group 6 years ago or its a harem. ╥﹏╥

Likee the only thing i read beside bl manhwa/ga/hua are actions with zero romance. there were so many like that but at the same time it feels like there's only a few of them cuz most of it, i already finished it (marinating it, while some are on hiatus or axed) Huhu. i want to continue reading this cuz it's peak but i can't.

There is one with a romance in it that I can recommend, because the romance, albeit important, kind of never really happens until the end, and then it's still mostly implied in something similar to an after-credits scene. It's an old Seinen called Wolfen Crest.
My absolute favorite Manga (I don't know, it just left a mark with me) has implied that there COULD be romance, with the one character in the story I dislike, but it thankfully never came to fruition, so she's just a random recurring side character who's annoying sometimes. It's called "Dendrobates".
Then two stories that have no romance, seemingly, but I don't know if that ever changes (sure hope it doesn't). "The S-Classes That I Raised" and "Trash of the Count's Family". They also suspiciously both have rumors going around about them being meant to be gay (which would explain quite a lot), but not going that way, because the platform they were originally hosted on was very conservative - specifically, that last part is supposedly true for "S-Classes". But I wouldn't know; in the end, it's not gay, so that's it.

If you have any to recommend, I'm all ears.

Yeah, that actively hurts. One of my all-time-favorites is "Mercenary Enrollment".
I swear, they even bring up the fact that he doesn't have what it takes to care about romance right now. He just came "home", trying to find his place in the world, finding out what "having a family" even means, after wondering about it on the battlefield for years.
Why don't they implie that he will, some day, have a family, but he needs to find himself first and fully get his life back on track, to the point where he's even safe enough to start worrying about romantic relationships.
... Nah, we need a bitch ASAP.

Exactly personally straight romance in ACTION mangahwaua most especially, just icks me out (funny enough I'm straight myself)
Like no matter how well it's done, or how compelling the characters are, I would just rather NOT with straight romance in an action setting, I've dropped tons of stories because of this issue.
If it's bromance, I'd totally be cool with it...in fact I actively search for bromantic action stories, that's just my preference.

I just looked into it and right on the first page, I saw "The Greatest Estate Developer", and while the story is really great, it does have a romance. Lloyd is romancing the red-head queen.

I stand corrected: Estate Developer was on page 2. I don't know why that opened up first.
Anyway, another story is the aforementioned The S-Classes that I Raised Webtoon, and the Manga Dendrobates. They have no romance, though S-Classes has a lot of Bromance, even very litteral "BROmance" (S-Classes has none as of now and Dendrobates has been finished for around 20 decades now; it concluded without a romantic subplot)

Thank you so much for letting me know actually, you see... it's been a while since I read TGED, but from what I remembered, there wasn't romance where I stopped, I'll remove it asap, we want zero romance after all

The most common insult is them calling you a misogynist tho. Because most female character don't have a proper reason to be in those stories, so they end up as harem or at least romance bimbos with barely any plot relevance that will be shove down you throat with all the might the author can muster up.
In the end, readers will be annoyed and everyone will say it's because you hate women. No other reason. Sure, I hate myself, apparently. Not that I'm saying I don't, but it has nothing to do with my gender.

Even if this WAS bromance, which it would never be btw lmao, i would still drop it because overall romance with action is not good whatsoever! It ALWAYS ends up being horrible and or the female lead is eventually forgotten bc the MC has to do some bs.

And plus, to me, dating/marrying someone who technically isnt as real as YOU are doesn't feel right to me like.
