I am dropping this at 150, after following it for 6 months it's getting repetitive. Started losing interest after a while and just can't seem to pick it back up.

honestly? idk, I have re read it, sometimes I believe there is something between them, and then poof, there isn't anything, they are playing hot and cold with that. Its given that romance isn't their core, but the tag is there, the thing is that she doesn't want to be queen and he wants to be king, but he does respects her, they look like best friends that pull each tother pigtails, sometimes. For me they are the endgame, but who knows

(spoilers) It took me a second to accept how useless the FL is in the beginning tbh. I was feeling frustrated and often it felt pathetic like she had no thoughts whatsoever. ML was your typical - know it all, good to the bone but misunderstood duke - kind of ML.
Aaaand then it started rolling, she actually got character development, realized she has been manipulated all her life, wanted to change and actually take the position of count to prove she is capable without a man's help. Her horrible father didn't help the fact she was powerless, I loved how they made her gain strength. Also I love the siblings dynamic in this! When she didn't try to save her brother in the first chapters I was SCREAMING but then they fixed it with her development. Quite liked it.
Also the TENSION between her and ML is some next level. No unnecessary crying and "I can't be with you I killed you in my past life" shit. She was like "man I shouldn't" and then just went and did it anyway. It was a bit anticlimactic how he got to know she regressed as well, I was expecting some more drama and display of emotions. But knowing them both they are very calculating and cold, that even in this case it was realistic how they just tried to pretend everything is alright.
But oh man THE KISS SCENES, almost all of them were dripping with desire. That's sooo nice for a change. And I grew to like her sarcastic ass, she was sassy from the beginning, first annoyingly so and then she had a reason because of how powerful she become.
I guess it made me rediscover how much I love the enemies to lovers. It was a worth read.
