What is the sickness? Does it take that many days to recover? Unfortunately work waits for no one and if they release 1 chapter within an entire month, yes, it's probably considered lazy. That's like me taking a month off and then half assing my work when i get back, my boss says "you're ONLY working that hard?!" and you argue with them because i was sick... I WAS sick, past tense.

Does this page explain the author's current condition? Like overwork? http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/a_man_like_you/uu/m_chapter-67.5/pg-1/

They didn't say and they aren't required to tell you. Of course it's not lazy to take time off work sometimes when you aren't feeling well you have to. it's called PTO. I don't know if they have paid time off but how does them taking a break make them lazy??? They are taking a break for their health. Plus they stated chapter 68 was coming out. They didn't say chapter 69 and 70. Let's just be nice to the author and not force them to overwork themselves.

Wow, you really took what i said somewhere else entirely... Who said that them taking a break is lazy? I think you need to read what i said again, i said that releasing only 1 chapter in an entire month would be lazy IF they're recovered within a few days and could've released more. It's their JOB to release chapters and using "i'm sick" to take a month off work only to get 1 chapter done would seem lazy IF they are well enough to work. That's how reality works. When you're well again you get back to work.

I don't think I did I answered the questions you asked. "what illness? they don't have to tell us"
"Does it take that many days to recover? Work waits for no one..." "it's called PTO... They are taking a break for their health." They can take as many days as they have to depending on what their boss has allowed them we are not the ones to decide if they come back after a week or after a month.
They're taking a break for a month for their health and you said if it takes them that long to come out with a chapter it was lazy. Taking time off work is considered a break even if it isn't because of health issues. "Does it take that many days to recover? Unfortunately work waits for no one and if they release 1 chapter within an entire month, yes, it's probably considered lazy."
We don't know how well their immune system is and once they recover its fine for them to still relax a bit, especially since they most likely already got the ok from the publisher. I mean they aren't just declaring this out of nowhere they had to speak to their boss about it. Anyways we both aren't paying for their work so I don't even see what the big fuss about the author taking time off is about. Like I said they might've also taken pto so even if their well they still have time off, and who are we to demand them to come back from their time off?

I don't have a problem with it, i just agree with what Artemis said. I don't have a personal stake in this and i don't care that they're taking a month off. I just feel like it's reasonable for them to be irritated by 1 chapter being released, provided that the author didn't have a valid excuse. As far as your response, yes, you answered a little of what i said and then the majority of your response was about "what's wrong with taking a break/PTO?", which literally wasn't what i said. I was basically saying that if they're milking it, it's a little lazy. This conversation started off talking about sick leave, now it's clear that they're just taking a break. Taking a break and faking sick for an entire month are 2 separate things, taking a break is more acceptable.

Who is accusing anyone of anything? You just immediately took the author's side so i was pointing out that there are situations in which it'd be okay to be frustrated with 1 chapter being released. Will you stop putting words in my mouth and twisting what i'm saying? If you don't have a proper argument against what i ACTUALLY said, don't respond. It's that simple.

Because the conversation started off with someone saying the author is "sick", you immediately took the author's side so i pointed out a common scenario that would justify being angry. People call in "sick" all the time. As the conversation continued it was made evident that the author was just taking a break. K, bye.

This is taking forever, when is the next chapter coming out like I'm getting sick of this. It's been how many days, weeks, months, years, when are the next chapter coming out. When the nexts chapters come out, all the chapter of this book needs to come out. So all the chapter needs to out, so that mean complete.
I really hate when authors leaves things helf and not finished it, like i want to know what happened, is the author die or something
no the author isn't dead, I am pretty sure the manga is finished (the original Japanese version) but the translators dropped this mango. We have to wait until someone else is willing to translate the rest. Don't blame the author. I hope I didn't come off rude.
did the author die*
