Okay so I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of BL out there so it's not a genre I prefer but something I have noticed with really popular mlm manhwas is that the mc, 60% of the time, always looks like a child and I really think that it's odd as hell because you have the ml looking like an absolute titan with wide body proportions, big veiny hands, a big dick and all that but then the mc, the "bottom", looks like they stopped growing ages ago I kid you not, the amount of child looking mcs I see on a daily basis are genuinely concerning. It's like them being the one on the receiving end makes it obligatory for them to look pretty and feminine and CHILDLIKE. Yes, I am aware that not all of them are like that and that dudes with normal, average bodies do exist in the manhwa verse but they are in no way as popular as the child looking ones. Another thing I noticed and find icky is that those characters are always most likely to be babied by both the fans and the author as if they're not grown adult men..This is just something that's been bothering me for a bit cuz it's just so normalized and I would love to know y'alls opinion on it!
++I really wanted to show examples but apparently you can't attach photos to question. Those examples would've been: Feel the benefit, Jinx, Dangerous Convenience Store, In the deep and 100% love is an illusion cuz it literally checks every box in the things I mentioned.
