Not sure why "Hirowa" posted this notice and what kind of authority they have to do so, but S3 is a continuation of S2 and will pick the story back up where it left on chapter 60 in the next chapter.
THIS IS NOT AN AU BS!
The author probably meant that the main story ended with S2 and that they'll be continuing S3 as a side story, not that it's unrelated to the main plot.
Side note:
At the start of the series, Flin mentions that he hasn't seen Andrea in over 7 years and that he's 23 years old now. Doing the math, it would make Andrea roughly 16 years old when he left Flin.
If that's the case, it would make sense that they went to middle and high school together.
I am confused as to why they later wrote that Andrea was last seen when he was 11. Now what Flin said makes more sense than the missing ad.
Let's all collectively ignore the trolls and not spam the comments section with comments that feed their ego... In a few hours the raws will be up, someone will share the link in the comments as usual, and a few hours later the real final chapter will be uploaded here.
Meanwhile we can only be patient and not flood the comments section to avoid pushing the actually useful comments with chapter links farther and make them go unnoticed.
Ok so what I believe should happen now is Kim Dan manning up and telling Jjk that he won't be leaving (at least for now) and that he'll be supporting him.
Up till now their dynamics have been very uneven, Kim Dan always being on the passive receptive side. True he's been more proactive lately with their latest steamy night activities and their convo on the beach, but there should be a major point in the story where Kim Dan takes bold actions to prove that he exists as the second half of a couple, not only as a receptive physical terapist persona. I believe that regardless of how much Jjk changes to the better, Dan needs to prove himself too. Otherwise it would look like jjk is pushing his "one-sided" decisions and feelings on him again.
And tbh jjk needs the support too. He's never had REAL support, beside the professional or the career-related one. It would be good to see them bond over this conflict where Kim Dan understands jjk's insecurities (since jjk already explored kim dan's) instead of shying away like what he's used to doing.
People should stop taking everything the characters say literally cause what do you mean he's treating him like a pet?? You can clearly see that he's treating him like the most precious person on earth TT^TT
Taeseo is still figuring out his feelings but he's far from mistreating Yeomin! And up to this point Yeomin is very satisfied with their relationship. Some of yall would dream of getting it on a daily basis, stop demonizing the seme!!!
To everyone commenting that he killed an innocent soldier, I think he picked soldiers from the council's spies. I remember that in the novel he emphasized that "the traitor has died" which I thought back then implied that these soldiers are the real traitors.
It could also be me putting it that way because poor guy lol
I don't care what y'all think but I prefer scenarios where one of the MC's is an asshole, a player, a shitty person someway somehow, and gets "reformed". I mean it's a story for a reason, if both are green flags from the get go and we have a smooth sailing relationship where would the spice be? Why would it be a plot to begin with?
Stories are meant to tell something, this author decided to tell the stories of shitty people who learned how to be decent human beings thanks to what would appear to be a very meak, dismissive, weaker person. If anything it gives power to the uke who remained gentle through and through, and not - as how most of you appear to think - justify the seme, but teaches them how to behave instead.
You guys should learn to look at things from a different perspective sometimes, and if you still don't think it's your cup of tea, just drop it and read something else. There are tons of semes with dumb looking reactions and wagging tails.
I won't call it basic but it's more to the author's signature (in this case, Mingwa's). The plot will go like: the uke likes the seme > uke's being used/seme hurts the uke (emotionally) > uke falls out of love (not fully) > seme suddenly realized uke is important to him > chasing arc
Kinda like that idk what I'm yapping. But yeah, we have our own opinions. As long as we don't be mean to those who don't share the same opinion with us. That should be fine.
I had said the very same things but not as nicely as you did here about the simps who keep coming back to see what other bad things JK will do next. People keep coming back because JK is drawn very hot. This is why despite proclaiming they hate JK and wish him all kinds of harm and killing himself, they want to see how hot JK will do to cutie patootie Kim Dan. People were so mad when I said they keep coming back because of how hot JK is. They have not seen someone so hot in manga and deep down they can’t give up the eye candy. In addition to what you said about the seme needs to be bad and the uke needs to be weak for th story to be interesting. It’s the plot point of the entirety of most of these yaoi. If people want a sweet yaoi with another hot guy, y’all can read PAYBACK. In that case the seme is sweet as candy and he’s the opposite of JK despite being a badass. The uke isn’t weak either. The haters of JK can drop this but I know they won’t because again )’ is drawn as very hot. And you won’t come across another seme who is this hot often.
Besides, what Kim Dan didn’t do to JK, the haters of JK more than made up. Every chapter have antis skinning JK alive. Maiming him. Wishing him to the 7th gates of hell. All sorts of ways he can die. Kim Dan does not need to do anything. The readers are doing plenty on his behalf.
Like you pointed out, this is a classic yaoi setup: seme being “bad” and uke being “weak” keeps the tension alive. Without that dynamic, a lot of readers would lose interest. But clearly, JK’s dangerous, toxic allure is what keeps them hooked. They swear they hate JK, but who’s the first in the comments every week drooling and raging at the same time? And they claim they have the right to "critic" -_- like yeah "I hate jk, kill urself" is such a constructive comment!!
They way u just explained their “signature” kinda proves my point. the trope is so basic and you see it in tons of other stories but the difference with this author is their last story was also apart of that trope but was a bit more exciting, this one just feels really lazy. I’m not being mean to anyone I’m just stating my opinion that the author should try something new, they have great art just sucky pacing and writing skills.
It’s definitely getting old, it’s had its run for some years but it’s starting to fade in a lot of areas. A lot of people are getting sick of the same old same old. ML is this abusive weirdo who has something to “make” poor mc stay, then mc leaves for some reason then abusive psycho “realizes” that they were “in love” with them or wtv, then we get some Pathetic back story that’s suppose to show us why this 20+ year old grown man could never change himself up until now. Then ML chases them down to some country side place. Then we don’t even get communication most of the time yet here☠ like it’s genuinely funny how bad this trope has become
It's more "predictable" than lazy. But at this point everyone is badmouthing the author and judging them based on a single previous series when you don't even know the author's intentions. It could be for sales cause BJ alex was a huge success (but hey, so is this one, whether you like it or not), or maybe they want to write a more refined story following the same trope, or simply because it's their own preferences, like a personal achievement of sorts.
Webtoons are a form of artistic expression before anything else, so the author is allowed to draw and tell whatever story they want. Naturally they can not appeal to everyone. You and everyone else jumping into this fully knowing the author's pattern and predicting the story isn't on the author, it's solely on you. You're playing right into their "plot", still consuming what they write and draw, and collaborate in making it more popular whith all your hateful comments lol
Signature and basic are completely different things. Idk how else to explain it to you (and it’s called a trope for a reason, lol). You might want to check Kirari’s latest reply since they explained it better. You’re jumping to conclusions when the story isn’t even finished yet. If you’re really interested in how it unfolds, you’ll stick around. But if it just feels boring and basic to you, maybe it’s better to read other “exciting” stories instead. Just saying~
Well the author has not even said what their intentions are so we as the audience judge it based on what we see. And whether a story has success or not is not something I care about here. (And that success was mainly from the beginning since a lot of fans came from bj Alex but a lot of people have dropped it) also not everyone jumped into this knowing it was going to be the same as bj Alex but more insufferable. I thought it was going to be a different vibe but after a few chapters I dropped it because I seen what they were doing so idk what “plot” you think I’m playing into but I stopped consuming their content after the quality started going down
It’s definitely bad, it’s just boring now, and those “top tier yaoi” from the search are mainly from 2020-2023 when this site was at one of it’s prime during Covid time. And not even all of them have this trope. And if they keep producing them ,wtv not my business but if they want more readers then they would expand. There’s better things
No duh signature and basic are completely different things I’m telling you why the trope with this author and others get boring. (The author doesn’t do anything really original with this trope so their “signature” is just like tons of others out there when it comes to writing style) There are many ways to do one single trope, but when it’s all the same it gets old. And you don’t have to jump to conclusions to see how the story is going to end , you can definitely see it.

ALL OF SEASON 2 WAS A REDEMPTION ARC! People who are claiming there was no redemption arc need to re-read this series.
Also I love how the author focused on the positives about her readers' reactions. I hope she truly means what she wrote and isn't bothered much by the ingrates and ignorants.
Overall it was a nice wrap. Looking forward for the sides!
